It’s finally the weekend and though you might expect the best incoming streaming content to be saved for the start of July, there’s actually plenty to keep subscribers to Netflix and all the major services occupied, as each site is adding some great new titles over the next few days.
Today, Friday the 26th, saw a bunch of notable new releases, including Netflix’s Will Ferrell-starring musical comedy movie Eurovision and Amazon’s secret agent comedy My Spy, with Dave Bautista. It’s no doubt something you’ve seen many times before, but Disney Plus finally just added Avengers: Infinity War as well, so you might want to give that another watch – for the 100th time. And, in case you missed it, Hulu also added the 2019 reboot of Charlie’s Angels yesterday.

And she does it all while singing an empowering anthem. Yet even with Idina Menzel’s highest of high notes, the song is unlike “Let It Go” due to a melancholic undertone about Elsa facing the ghosts of her family’s legacy and accepting her full identity.
The scene is preferred by many over the more straight-forward attempt to recapture “Let It Go,” aka “Into the Unknown,” including apparently Menzel herself, who previously hinted she would’ve liked to see Disney campaign “Show Yourself” for Best Song at the Oscars. Bobby Lopez and Kristen Anderson-Lopez have a unique collaborative process when it comes to songwriting. As they’re wont to joke, they were working out of their apartment in Brooklyn, and over telecommuting services, before it was cool—or necessary due to the coronavirus pandemic. But as they reflected on the global phenomenon that was Frozen 2 a half-year later in a Zoom press conference, and ahead of a new documentary series about the movie set to premiere on Disney+, they revealed even they’re desperate for things to return to normal… so much so Kristen Anderson-Lopez joked about being desperate enough to work on “Frozen 3.”
Mentioning that she’s been asked repeatedly about when work might begin on Frozen 3, Anderson-Lopez said with a smile, “How about you guys get us a vaccine. When there’s a vaccine, we’ll start trying to talk about Frozen 3.” She went on to add,...

Whenever a new movie comes out, there are featurettes that show us generic footage of the cast and crew in production, whether it’s on-location or somewhere on the studio backlot. There are interviews providing vague information about the story and characters along with some sneak peeks of the movie we’ve yet to see. Even the […]
