This old hippie remembers turqoise on everyone way back when. This, however, is quality stuff being mined, shined, and sold! Husband loves it, too, so I'm hoping he might think of it come gift giving time!! Bring on the new season!!

Love watching this show

Both my 9 & 10 year old love watching this show (not to mention me). It's refreshing to see such a hardworking and really good stand up family working together. No bleeps from language and even when things go south they stick together and remain positive. I hope the show continues.
Intentionally repetitive filler

Very disappointing. It is almost highly interesting. Unfortunately like most of these shows it is made for advertisers not the audience. Each episode is 40 minutes, 25 minutes of that are recaps after the commercials I kid you not... I did the math... 15 minutes of new content per 40 minute episode, the rest is over and over again same scenes.
Typical overtly bad solo guitaring to unduly prop up the garbage, typical over dramatization... watched 1 episode, they showed the same scene over and over again, I counted 1 scene shown 20 times in 1 episode. As if our time is worth nothing.
For those interested in turquoise, mining or geology, I'd advise watching the 15 minutes and fast forwarding... of course, this is only tollerable for 1 episode... but its pretty obvious that's all you need... unfortunately.

I used to live in Nevada for many years. My grand mother dated a tuquoise miner. She got no return from her investment and you won't benifit from watching. Their office is a trailor. From watching the show homes a fact and they badly make even. How do I know? I have driven threw Tonopah nv. There is nothing there but a fill in station and restaurants. Crater show do not watch.

This is an awesome show for ALL audiences!
It shows the adventures and daily operations of a family that digs for real treasure together! And they find it! Its Not one of those shows that leaves you waiting for the big reveal at the end of a season, these guys make it happen all the time!!!!
Theres lots of blasting, ins and outs of mining, close calls, not to mention the worlds most beautiful turquoise gemstones!
Great content, entertaining, and a quality, family oriented show! 👍👍
More fake scripted

Just bad directing and forced situations. From the fake excavator falling off the hill to Donna's character pushing the guys to reopen her mine. Why can't them producers just let the people do what they do and if it makes a show great. But this is so faked and forced its hard to watch. What saves it is they really are mining and it really is tough work. All these types of shows are faked and scripted to the point its just not worth watching.
