As is obligatory for the start of a new year, it’s time to look back at the sh*t-show that was last year and pick out our highlights of the year… This time round it’s Phil’s Top 10 Dtv Horror Movies of 2020. Which are, in no particular order:

With the might of his loyal (although brainwashed) Ghan-Aryans and his superhuman Karate-Powers,...

Exclusive: Good Gate Media, the Wales-based production company that is carving out a niche for itself in the growing interactive film market, has lined up its next two feature projects.
The company is coming off the success of The Complex, its interactive film from The Handmaid’s Tale writer Lynn Renee Maxcy that was a hit across various digital platforms earlier this year, achieving the best-selling first week launch of any interactive project.
As Deadline revealed back in June, Doctor Who star Mandip Gill and Vikings actress Georgia Hirst lead the cast of Five Dates, Good Gate’s next feature, which shot this summer and will release on 27th October on Playstation, Nintendo, Xbox and Steam.
Now, the company has set cast and financed two further inactive features, both of which begin production within the next week.

Shot over 14 days in South Wales last March, on a meagre budget of £35k, Don’t Let Them In is the first film produced by Wayout Pictures, which was only formed a year prior to production on this film beginning! A home invasion come mystery, Don’t Let Them In is set fifteen years after the brutal murder of a pretty young girl.
The culprit, David Pierce, is declared reformed and is finally released from the asylum where he has been held for over a decade; returning to his family home – The Twelve Bells Inn, a long abandoned hotel. When two social workers – Jenna and Karl – pay a routine visit, things are clearly not what they seem. Sinister masked intruders spark a savage confrontation,...

To kick off this brand new month of home media releases, March isn’t living up to its reputation of coming “in like a lion,” as we only have eight different titles headed to Blu-ray and DVD this week. Fans of the Nightmare series should definitely check out the brilliant documentary Scream, Queen! My Nightmare on Elm Street, which chronicles Mark Patton’s journey through his career pre- and post-noes 2. Rlje Films is releasing the Shudder Exclusive film, The Furies, onto DVD this Tuesday, and Screen Media is cueing up The Sonata for genre fans, which features a performance from the late, great Rutger Hauer.
Other titles coming home on March 3rd include A Wakefield Project, Dead Sound, Don’t Let Them In, I Am Fear, and Primrose Lane.
