This is a very timely short film that takes advantage of the world-wide fame of "American Idol", "British Idol" and countless other "Idols" throughout the world. Whether you like this type of show or not will doubtless affect how much you like this short. As I hate reality television, I loved this short. I really don't know how lovers of the genre will react to this parody.
The film begins with a guy winning an Idol-like contest. He stupidly signs a deal with the first publicity firm that comes along (accosting him off stage as soon as he wins) and they manage to make him very famous--but at a cost!! The film features a good story idea and good production values throughout. A good film and I hope to see more from the folks who made this funny morality tale.
