Sex & Nudity

Violence & Gore

  • Wilson performs a surgery. There is visible blood.

Profanity

  • When House tells Wilson that Foreman "wants to not be me," Wilson says "Because he thinks you're a cold-hearted b****** without any regard for anyone but yourself." Wilson walks into House's office while he's talking with Cuddy and says "What the h***'s wrong with you?" When he responds, Wilson says, "I told you to show Foreman you have a heart. How does that translate into you being a b******?" House tells Foreman, "You're the selfish b******, not me." When the patient's husband asks House what he's going to do, he says, "God only knows." Considering, however, that God is a point of discussion throughout the episode, this may not be considered profanity by some.

Alcohol, Drugs & Smoking

  • Chase asks Cameron if she wants to get a drink. Esteban and House smoke cigars and drink alcohol in one scene.

Frightening & Intense Scenes

  • The episode begins with a helicopter rescue at sea. At one point, when the man being rescued refuses to let go of his suitcase, the rescue diver holds him under the water to render him unconscious for a moment so he can secure him and lift him up. The patient loses her pulse, and the team begins to administer CPR.
