The first part was a true triumph, brilliantly devised.
This was the two part story that definitely took the show up a few notches, this episode really did have it all, so much going on, with some real depth.
Maria has gone back to 1964, her mission to try and save Sarah Jane, The Trickster has other ideas.
I'd forgotten just how good Chrissie was, Juliet Cowan is terrific, she's on great form here.
As often is the case in Who, the absence of the lead can produce a legendary story (Blink) and the same happened here. Very big storyline which was brilliantly delivered.
Turn Left next for the Trickster, hopefully this character/being will pop up on the main show again one day.
