Spoilers

The Parents Guide items below may give away important plot points.

Sex & Nudity

  • After being separated from Spear in the second episode of season 2, Fang meets and befriends a male Tyrannosaur named Red. It's implied the two of them mate at some point, because later on in the season, Fang becomes pregnant and gives birth to 3 dinosaur eggs after being fertilized.
  • In season 2, Ima is kinda sketchy but doesn't show anything just a little cleavage and her legs.
  • During a sex scene at the end of episode 20, where a woman has sex with an almost unconscious man in order to have children. Not explicit but there is movement and gentle moans.
  • In the finale, a woman is shown taking a bath and was seen by a dinosaur. Just cleavage and legs are visible.

Violence & Gore

  • Spear suffers a brutal death as he sacrificed himself against the demonic Viking Chieftain to save Fang, her babies, Mira, and her village. He soon succumbed to his second to third degree burns and died after he mates with Mira.

Alcohol, Drugs & Smoking

  • Two dinosaurs are shown becoming drunk together near a fruit tree that's taste could make someone drunk, even though this is known to be just an innocent, cute moment, It still is a reference of a couple getting drunk together after drinking alcohol.

Frightening & Intense Scenes

  • Spear and Fang's families are eaten alive onscreen, blood gushing out from the predator's mouth and all.
  • An Argentinosaurus is infected and becomes cannibalistic and crazed, causing it to kill it's own herd and later attack and chase the protagonists. Spear has a nightmare of him and Fang becoming infected as well. The Zombified sauropod later burns into ash in a volcano.
  • A battle with a clan of ape-men results in bloody carnage.
  • Episode 7 is about a flesh-eating virus that can turn its victim into a crazed zombie which slowly rots the infected. The sight of the zombie sauropod is genuinely terrifying.
  • Surtr, the Norse fire demon, may frighten viewers in some episodes in season 2.
  • The Viking chieftain's brutal transformation from a human to a fire demon in Episode 17 is very frightening.
  • The evil Egyptian Queen's tyrannical invasions in various lands is very intense and emotional. Throughout the sequence, most viewers sympathize with Spear, Fang, and Kamau as they are being forced to slaughter countless of innocent people on the evil queen's behalf just to keep their respective children safe. (Kamau's daughter and Fang's eggs before they hatched into two hatchlings)
  • Spear's death in Episode 20 is very depressing.
  • In the beginning of Season 1 Episode 6, Spear is devastated because he believes that Fang died as a result of being beaten up by an ape during the events of episode 5, resulting him to angrily scream, the scream can be hard to hear for younger and sensitve viewers, however, Fang is revealed to be just fine but gravely injured.
  • After Spear dies, Spear and Mira now have a daughter in the ending who would follow her father's footsteps, which could make viewers emotional because this would mean that Spear's story has now been completed
