Bridgerton has been a bonafide hit for Netflix, and we can't wait to watch the upcoming prequel, Queen Charlotte: A Bridgerton Story.
The streaming service shared a full-length trailer on Thursday, and it showcases the origins of the powerful character on Bridgerton.
Off the bat, the chemistry between Charlotte and George is very present, which bodes well for the series' success.
Also interesting, the love story looks very different from the two already at the center of the main series.

Mattel is developing the live-action family drama Christmas Balloon, which will be written by Gabriela Revilla Lugo (A Million Little Things) based off a true story.
The film follows a young girl, Dáyami, living in a Mexican border town who tries to send her Christmas list to Santa tied to a balloon. The balloon is found by Randy and Marcella Heiss, a couple in Arizona grieving the loss of their own child, who make it their mission to fulfill the girl’s touching Christmas wishes. Mattel worked with the couple and donated toys to fulfill Dáyami’s wish towards a brighter future.
“Much like Dáyami’s balloon itself, the journey of this touching story and Mattel’s direct role in fulfilling her real-life wishes made it a must-do for us,” said Kevin McKeon, VP of Mattel Films. “We were immediately struck by this little girl’s spirit and the story’s positive message.

When you hear WWI, trenches and trench warfare often spring to mind. The War Below is based on a true story about World War I but instead of trenches, it is about some clever, skilled tunnelers seeking to sabotage German forces.
World War I, then called the Great War, and the “War to End All Wars,” was a earth-shattering conflict, changing the nature of warfare, remaking the political and physical landscape, and decimating a generation of young men. The War Below is based on the true story of a group of British sewer tunnelers from Yorkshire, nicknamed the “clay-kickers,” who were brought in by “Hellfire Jack” Col. John Norton-Griffiths to help break the stalemate with the German forces in the battle of Messines in 1917. The result of their near-miraculous efforts was a massive explosion under the enemy line,...

I find it somewhat incredible that after all these years we are still finding new and exciting stories to tell about the First and Second World War. There seemingly is no end to the acts of heroism exhibited in those trying times. In terms of movies it just seems like we are obsessed with the genre, proven by the fact that wether it be a Sam Mendes epic or a slightly lower budget J.P. Watts flick we are going to be given more than 1 or 2 war movies a year.
Its with this in mind that when it comes to a new war movie, I find myself less and less interested in the spectacle of your 1917‘s and I am more invested in the low key personal...

Despite the fact it’s an historical event from so long ago now, and has been portrayed on the screen countless times, World War I remains a difficult subject to cover. Originality and the delicate balance of emotions are two such challenges, but The War Below ticks both boxes and then some.
One thing all Great War adaptations have in common is that they tell a true story – partially at least – and this is about the little-known tale of a ragtag group of recruits whose mission was to tunnel under no-man’s land to gain an advantage on the Western Front.
They were in fact a group of miners hired for their specialist skills, a last roll of the dice to break the deadlock in the Battle of Messines. Led by William ‘Bill’ Hawkins they soon find life in the trenches is like nothing they could ever have imagined.
For much of the first quarter,...

Fox News host Dan Bongino is not happy with the network after it edited a clip of a recent interview with former President Donald Trump, a move that sparked swift backlash from Bongino’s own conservative (and fiercely pro-Trump) fan base.
Bongino’s interview with Trump aired August 7. In it, Trump called the 2020 election he lost to President Joe Biden fraudulent and once again falsely claimed that he had won. The full Trump quote is as follows:
It’s a disgrace what’s happening, and I don’t think the country’s going to stand for it much longer, they are disgusted. You have a fake election, you have an election with voter abuse and voter fraud like nobody’s ever seen before, and based on that, and based on what happened, they are destroying our country, whether it’s at the border, whether it’s on crime, and plenty of instances,...
