With this short film it's hard to understand what is actually real and what is part of Mo's fantasy. Mo is a very lonely man, it seems like he has no friends, no family, no one that cares for him so he spends all of his time in his fantasy world where he has friends, a cat, a beautiful house and more. About the woman that lives in the same building as him I am a bit unsure if she is real. My guess is that she is real and she feels bad for him and she wants to help him but I could be wrong. The film has some nice humor and also some build up leading to the big reveal which is that Mo's real life is a nightmare, his cat is fake, his friend is fake and his house looks abandoned. It's a combination of comedy and drama. This is definitely not a horror short film. I don't think that having a person with delusions counts as horror, at least not in this case. The performances are good. It's a very decent project overall, my rating is 7/10.
