The first episode had promise but was a bit rough. Second week the characters are beginning to form more clearly. Enjoyed both, and think the show could be enjoyable if it continues along this path. The relationship between Tommy and her daughter needs to smooth out, but we enjoy her relationships with her staff and others.

More PC crap. Woke daughter worried about Police with "automatic weapons." Edie Falco is not believable as an experienced police officer. Show would benefit from being more police procedural, & less clichéd soap opera.
I understand current events and politics are relevant, but I'm put off by Quotes like "scared officers are dangerous officers. Someone's going to get their head blown off, asking for directions." These aren't cops, they just play cops on tv. Maybe they stayed at a Holiday Inn Express last night? Utter Crap!

First, if you know a military, police, or fire fighter that's hurting help them get help. I was in some fire fights in the service and I still dream about them and have also thought of suicide. I got help, but many don't.
The daughter seems to be so ignorant about police. I disagree a little with another reviewer regarding the statements like scared officers are dangerous. When a brother dies or is hurt, the natural instinct is to make it right. The statements the chief makes are to try and calm the response. The van scene is a tad ridiculous though because if anything like that ever really happened it would be wall to wall on cnn and msnbc for weeks.
I'm still holding out judgement because I've really liked Ms. Falco going back to the Sopranos so I'll hang in there.
