The 13th volume of Sweetheart's May/December romance series is one of the best: four moving short stories by label founder Nica Noelle, well-directed by Ricky Greenwood and featuring a highly talented cast.
One of the best is "The Nanny", shot at the iconic "Immoral Proposal" mansion (porn's favorite location), home of single mom Sarah Vandella as Mrs. Thompson, whose infant Emma is entrusted to her young babysitter Abby (Emma Starletto). There's a genuinely spooky sequence when Abby is wandering down the corridor upstairs and Mrs. Thompson, fresh from taking a shower, sneaks up behind the girl and touches her shoulder -she's come home early from a very bad date!
Pouring her heart out to the youngster, she finds sympathy and discovers that Abby is a lesbian. Bicurious Mrs. Thompson is intrigued, and on the rebound from a disappointing experience with the opposite sex is quickly seduced, resulting in a sensitive love scene.
Leadoff vignette titled "The Watcher" features a strong narration voice-over by lead Alexis Fawx in her brunette mode. She relates how a new neighbor's young daughter (played by lovely waif Kenzie Reeves) has been voyeuristically watching her, and how she enjoys being secretly gazed at and lusted after by the girl. Alexis takes a sexy bath, with Kenzie observing through the window, and soon both are masturbating. Fawx fetches the girl inside and they have a sensuous love scene. Again, the atmosphere generated here is palpable.
Elexis Monroe stars in "Chatting with a Stranger", a modern tale. She's meeting up for the first time with Jennifer (Jade Baker), who she's communicated with on the internet for three weeks. But when Jennifer arrives, Elexis is shocked that she's not the 40 year old lady she's been corresponding with but a beautiful teen, who lied to her via keystrokes. They have a heart to heart talk on Elexis's couch and realize that their interests in common are greater than either one's feelings about age differences, and a passionate love scene follows. It's the best acting I've seen from Elexis since her transition from popular ingenue to certified MILF actress in recent years.
Baker returns in a different supporting role as Maggie in a scene titled "My Dirty Little Secret", playing Alana Cruise's daughter. Alana is Barbara, who in collecting laundry from Maggie's room finds a diary on the floor and reads from it, discovering the author is a closet lesbian Gabrielle expressing a crush on another woman. Emily Willis plays Gabrielle, and shows up to retrieve her journal, and Barbara takes her aside, assuming that the girl is in love with her daughter. But it turns out Gabrielle has set her sights on Barbara instead, and impetuously kisses the older woman, who is not merely surprised but flattered. Both actresses deliver an earthy love scene.
As usual for Nica, these stories are open-ended: once the characters and situations are firmly established, the XXX sex takes over and reaches its climax without twists, turns or surprise endings. Sum total of the four segments is quality entertainment, respecting the viewer's intelligence.
