An endearing and fascinating short Warning: Spoilers
"An Imaginary Life" is a very cute, tender and bittersweet short about the life of the imaginary friend of a kid once he is forgotten, showing his struggle, sometimes humorous, sometimes of sad, to go on.

With a very simplistic (but pretty well done) animation, this short manages to tell a brief, but wonderful story where the comedy and the sadness are wonderfully combined, resulting in something impressive and heartwarming.

The ending is incredibly beautiful and honest.

I couldn't imagine a better conclusion.

Steve Bakers "An Imaginary Life"

The film is about an Imaginary friend who have been left behind by his old real friend Andrew Baker, he now tries to take away the pain inside of him. He joins a rock band and becomes a painter, but nothing really works out. He's friend have just moved on and he have to except it.

This short film on 5 minutes is one of my favorite short films. It has a warm, sad feeling. You can also see the humor in it. It got great animation and it got great music by Benjamin P Dougherty. The Imaginary character in the film is a bit cliché in its way of looking but it works out in the end, it is not like he could do much more with him. This is a great movie and really recommend it.
