Very happy to see this series returning. The same dark comedy and character development that made this series a winner for me are still here to be found, and the rhythm is good as ever. If anything, I would say thy could have skipped the short reintroductions of the main characters to instead offer a brief recap of where we left off a year ago ( especially since the action picks up a couple weeks after the event of last season's finale ) eager to see the arc of this season develop.

Truly a refreshing gift

If you saw the 1st season and loved the extremely weird writing like most did, this episode will not dissapoint you. The characters are back with their wonderful dynamic as usual and it even seems to be an increase in the VFX (thanks to a bigger budget by HBO Max maybe). In the hard times we currently live in, this comes out like a breeze of refreshingness and I truly hope that it will catch will as many as people so it can be renewed for a 3rd season.

I missed the show. It's still great fun while some scenes and lines are really dark - perfectly balanced. VFX got better, i think so, maybe the show get some more budget (thanks to HBO max, idk). And woah, we have 2 more episodes to go, the best june 25th in my life.

This premiere to the new season kept up exactly what made last season great but also improved on it. Each character deals with the consequences of last season very well, and Dorothy Spinner is very likable yet also intriguing.
