New episodes of Alton Brown’s “Good Eats” are coming, but not to the channel that you might expect.
Three new installments of Brown’s “Good Eats: The Return” will launch Thursday, Feb. 18 on Discovery’s new streaming service, discovery+, rather than debuting on the show’s longtime home, Food Network.
Per Discovery+, “In the series that inspired a generation of food fans, Alton explores the origins of ingredients, decodes culinary customs and presents food and equipment trends. Punctuated by unusual interludes, simple preparations and unconventional discussions, each episode features food in its finest and funniest form.”

Alton Brown and Food Network have cooked up a wickedly sweet Halloween treat for “Good Eats” fans: The cable channel will air a new “Good Eats” primetime special from Brown next month. And yes, of course it’s about candy.

Good news for “Good Eats” fans: Alton Brown and Food Network will be cooking up new episodes, TheWrap has learned exclusively.
“Gettin’ more!” Kathleen Finch, chief lifestyle brands officer at Food Network parent company Discovery Inc., told TheWrap Thursday, when we asked if we were, well, gettin’ more “Good Eats.”
“Isn’t [Alton] amazing? He’s one of those guys… I wish we could get it done faster,” she added. “He writes it, he conceives it, directs it, he’s just this craftsman with these shows, which is why they are so amazing. It does take a little while to get it right.”

“Good Eats” returned to Food Network back in August after a 7-year break with an 11-episode 15th season, aptly titled “Good Eats: The Return.” And while there are still a two shows left that will run back-t0-back as holiday specials in December, Alton Brown’s fans are already clamoring for a Season 16.
Don’t worry though, guys, Food Network president Courtney White is on it.
“We are talking to Alton,” she told TheWrap last month. “That show is one of the most carefully crafted shows I think there ever was.
