Did Liz REALLY just say that?
ptim-odemeister14 August 2020
Did Liz REALLY just say she had a problem with fairytales is the 'being saved by the charming prince'??!!

Liz has in 7 seasons been duped, conned, knocked on her a***, kidnapped and caught and EVERYTIME been saved by Red, Ressler or Copper (occasionally by Aram or Samar (the only strong female character, who they got rid of)

She might as well wear a white dress high heels and twist her ankle regularly!

Apart from Liz (worst FBI agent and human being ever) the rest of the episode was alright.

Now either you are playing dumb or you R Fing dumb... please elaborate in next episode! if you dont realize it thru next episode (two episodes max) you really are a dumbass profiler, as you have proved so many times before, and should be fired!

Liz is stupid. Aram is a badass. Red doesn't appear nearly enough.
lukebernstein322 October 2019
Liz is just seeming really stupid. Aram has a surprising badass moment while undercover. His story is good. After the last great episode I wish they could have followed up with more stuff for red to do. A common problem in a lot of episodes now with red not being involved in the blacklister storylines. Also I think it's about time the writers realized that a lot of people don't like Liz. And so far Liz hasn't had much to do in this season. The first two episodes focused more on red. And this one focused on Aram. I don't mind this. And I find what Aram is feeling really relatable. I originally rated this episode 9 out of 10 but on second thought I like episodes that focus on Aram. So I'll give this one 10 out of 10. And I find what Cooper says to Aram at the end very relatable. But i heard this episode had the lowest live veiwers in a long time. I hope that's only temperary becuase of the joker movie or baseball. And it is Friday night and it's not winter yet so the network should cut them some slack. And dvr numbers should bring them up a bit.

Aram is a Badass, and Liz isn't Stupid
aiden-711222 October 2020
Warning: Spoilers
Ok Aram pulled off a totally badass maneuver while undercover, which had my hubby and I cheering out loud. And don't listen to everyone who are confused that Liz let Katarina into her house - she's not stupid, if you pay attention to their conversation at the end during the reading of Little Red Riding Hood, Liz knows it's her, and they talk in subtext with each other. If you've never been estranged from a parent you never met, then you wouldn't understand the need to know them no matter what. This was well done.

Don t be such judgemental, this Katarina s short-way to Liz s appartment is good
giurgea-madalina20 October 2019
Warning: Spoilers
I just think that the producer wanted to make it shorter. I mean Liz and katarina could have meet before many more times outside one or another ' s house and had few chats but eventually katarina would still get in liz's appartment. But beside this, the plot, the story with those rich people seeking for those kind of things is very original. I enjoyed watching this episode till its end.

Worst FBI profiler EVER
dierregi26 February 2021
By now the plot is so dumb, it starts to be - involuntarily - comic. Liz is supposed to be a "profiler" - nonetheless for the FBI - but she befriends and entrust her precious child to a complete stranger who happens to be a most wanted criminal... This woman, who appeared out of nowhere, within the shortest time divulges her sad story of wanting to make up with her estranged daughter.

At that stage, even the dumbest of the dumb would have thought "What a coincidence! I am obsessing about my spy and traitor mother who abandoned me, and here comes a woman old enough to be my mother, who abandoned her daughter... what are the chances?" 🤔 Focus Liz, not that many... As I said, I watch for a laugh.

First time I thought it was STUPID
barbara-hospel19 October 2019
Warning: Spoilers
Liz would NOT be so stupid as to let a woman she does not know into her apartment and believe the story about the keys haven fallen.!!!

This was too much for me. And they talk about guards around her apartment and I did not see any so now her mother gets into her apartment!!! STUPID!

What idiot wrote this?
bonniejeanne20 October 2019
Warning: Spoilers
I also thought this episode was really stupid. With all of Liz's worries about something happening to her daughter, and the crazy things that have happened in the past, I would think she'd have cameras placed all over her apartment. As if she would trust some random woman who just happened to move into the neighboring apartment! And why would Aram even trust that woman after she was spilling everything to the main bad guy? I don't think even Aram would be that desperate for love. None of this episode really made any sense.

THis has to be the worst written episode on television
insideout09829 October 2019
Warning: Spoilers
What is happening here? Are the writers punking is? I mean, seriously. Lizzzy dizzy has n o suspicions whatsoever about this strange middle-age woman who suddenly out of no where moves in next door to her? Was there no a security detail placed on her? Is she not an FBI agent? Does she always leave her daughter ion the company of complete strangers? What in the world are the writers of this terrible scripting smoking out there? Liz is the most self-centered, narcissistic and poorly disciplined agent of the bureau to ever live. She wants what she wants at any and all cost, including her team. Woe. Then Haram's love puppy BS is enough to make me want to heave. What happened to this show??? It's almost a parody of itself.

Plot and Liz: two stoopids at once
grizwolde5 September 2020
Warning: Spoilers
As everyone else says, it's beyond plausible that Liz isn't the slightest bit suspicious of her new neighbor, especially one with such a convenient non-story about why the old tenant moved out.

But the plot had a wholly unnecessary complication: the ELT was completely unnecessary. All they needed to do was track Aram and his date. Did they suddenly run out of resources? No plane in the sky, no traffic cam hijacking, no way to follow them to a big yacht, no way to follow the yacht?

These episodes get leakier and leakier, and Liz gets dumber and dumber.

Pu lease
scooterbreeze29 September 2020
Warning: Spoilers
Kararina is pretty dumb if she needs to copy the quickset key to Liz's apartment. Someone supposedly as devious and smart as she is could open that lock no problem. And dumb of Liz to have such an easy door lock.

Stupid pills for everyone?
theoriginalantiblonde10 September 2020
Warning: Spoilers
Wow! I have to agree with the other reviews here about how poorly written and conceived this episode was. There is no way even an average person, knowing that they are in potential danger, would blithely open their home to a complete stranger as this episode has Liz doing. Her character is not stupid. There is no way in hell, knowing what she knows, and especially after what had just happened with her grandfather, that she would be so careless -- sheesh, she even knew it was a woman behind it all.

Shame, shame, shame on the writers, on the whole production team, for allowing the premise behind this episode to ever happen!! Talking about letting your characters down! And this season had started so well, with such depth and subtlety in episodes one and two. Well, that's shot to hell now, isn't it? You all should be smacked soundly... and/or fired!

And extra shame on the writers also because Aram's character was so awesome in this episode. As was the new character, Frankie Campbell. I hope she stays on -- she rocks in this episode. This should have been an eight or nine-star episode just for them, not the three I now have to give it because of the very bad taste Liz's storyline is leaving in my head. Hesitant to continue watching episode four cos I can only swallow so much stupid at once.

Bad Writing
drkaren-2746714 October 2020
So an FBI profiler who is worried her mother may be coming after her little girl and who has vetted and turned away multiple nannies suddenly let's a stranger, not vetted, take care of her daughter. Stupid. Bad Writing. Boo.

walaamaher15 January 2021
Warning: Spoilers
Ken house 1, 2 & 3 was monitord with cameras, invaded by killers, even liz motel was monitored by RR sniper.. And this house is said to be having fbi guards.. And u saw what happened.. Really 🤔 Every door with regular key since 60s in movies they open it with a wire 😁.. And for that cheap lock the mother needed a plot to get a print on a clay... 😜 I know Restova was an 90s operative but really?? Clay prints is not a thing from the 90s

Hungry Wolf?
Hitchcoc2 December 2022
Warning: Spoilers
When Katarina reads "Little Red Riding Hood" to Agnes, she reads the version where the wolf eats the little girl. No happy ending. This whole episode is pretty bad. Several have mentioned Elizabeth's lack of oversight, even after the constant turning of the tables by Reddington (it's not always what it seems). She should be super suspicious but moves right into bed with the wolf. That whole Fleurs du Mal thing with the game is right out of Shirley Jackson and "The Lottery." By the way, that glass must have been really thin that gun would shatter it. It really is a case where the writers came up with the game and thought it would be fun.

LIZ HAS RUINED EVERYTHING
hvahndijk11 December 2022
I loved this show. Until about here when Liz is so unbelievably dumb and yet somehow she is fooling the great Reddington and giving him a run for his money? She single handedly ruined one of my favorite shows.

At this point just gritting my teethe and getting through the atrocious writing that has created her. A profiler? Really? And she lets some stranger take care Of her only child after all the betrayals and chaos she's been through? That is LAZY writing. They are trying to make her out to be the best, a mastermind but my god she's a child that should've been written out a few seasons ago. Time after time Liz does the impossible really stupidly.
