This is not a review of the movie but a correction on the page. The main cast of this movie is Arjun Chakraborty, Madhumita Sarkar and Paoli Dam, who are Anisha and Soma Banerjee and why are their names coming on the front?

This movie starts like just another typical indian commercial movie, later takes some significant twists and comes out as more of a psycho thriller. The ideas of brain manipulation and hyper hypnotic treatments are unique, atleast in the bengali film industry. Teddy Daniels from the Shutter island world has been through the same kinda treatment before I guess, and add some bangali makho makho prem to the story part. Jokes apart, this movie is really good and I recommend it to watch for atleast once.

Love Aj Kal Porshu - Romantic Bangla Movie

The concept of this movie is new but frustrating. No logical explanation rather showing that hypnosis is too simple made this movie a joke. It was forcefully proven to be a romantic movie. They forget everything everyday but they fall in love each day. This logic seems so unrealistic and moreover, every time love was pictured as a cheap feeling that come so easily. I think the story writer of this movie had only time pass type relationship in his life. Therefore, his attitude towards love is so bogus. The overall set up was for a producing a tv show which is so much popular but recorded with hidden cameras. There is a wow logic in this movie that, they did all of these hard work just to make their acting natural. Really funny. Watch it on your own responsibility.

Haunting love story in a dystopian world where love becomes entertainment. Bengali cinema comes of age in this brillantly scripted narrative where the couple goes through a Groundhog Day scenario falling in love over and over again. Very well directed and performed so well by the entire cast. Must watch.

I never expected that there is a genre of Psychological Romantic Drama but this movie was truely a game changer. First of all hats off to Pratim D. Gupta for the whole concept of this movie. Secondly ofcourse his unique style of describing the narrative which is really really awesome may it be Ahare Mon, Saheb Bibi Ar Golam, Mach Mishti & More or this movie. Thirdly, the performances were exceptional playing four different characters in one single frame is matter of real headache but this duo Arjun and Madhumita did an appreciable job. The ensemble cast too was good but the show stealler was Paoli Dam in grey shade. I personally loved this new genre of Bangla Cinema and would highly highly recommend it, do give it a watch not for me but for this much much underrated director Pratim D. Gupta.

The film starts off as a love story and then gradually steers towards a suspense thriller keeping you engaged and enthralled every moment of the movie. Shades of The Truman Show and Westworld don't take away the brilliance of the film which looks at love through the lens of society and what is today's definition of entertainment. The performances are natural and the movie has been photographed beautifully. Felt proud as a Bengali watching this new age romantic thriller. Much recommended also for those who don't know the language.

The film shows different facets of love very cleverly by putting it in a thriller format. There is physical love and platonic love and of course, love for the ages. A true romantic like me loved the love story of the film. The thriller part is good in the second half but it is the love story that really carries the film forward. Want to watch it again for Arjun and Madumita.

Pushes Bengali film to new heights. Really brave film that combines a mainstream romance with a futristic medical thriller zone. Paoli Dam is extraordinary as Kalki Maitra. The new girl is also good. Arjun is a little stiff at places. The two songs are nice but Rabindrasangeet not arranged well.

Best movie... You guys plz get married in real life plzz

It's a mishmash of different genres yet at the end, it celebrates love and only love. Great debut by Madhu. She is so good in the emotional scenes and also looks sexy throughout. Arjun is good too but Yash would have been better I think. Paoli is as always very good. The man playing Botuk is very funny. On the whole must watch movie on Amazon.

Best movie, in valentine week, 2020. I had seen this on 2nd day, but 2nd show, in cinema hall. And this is the 1st movie of my favourite actress Madhumita Sarcar❤. Nice movie

This film was an absolute delight to watch! From storyline to acting everything was on point!

Positives -

STORY & SCREENPLAY : By far the best romantic thriller I have ever watched. The story delves into various levels of love. This is not a normal Love Story! Kudos to the writer!

ACTING : Madhumita, Arjun and Paoli never disappoint you! Madhumita being the debutant presented the best of her capabilities through her very first film. Arjun and Paoli were as usual amazing on their part.

CINEMATOGRAPHY : The film sets your mood with its wonderful cinematography. A lovely experience indeed.

DIRECTOR : Pratim does a great job as a director! Its a kind of film where you can not predict.

NEGATIVE -

CLIMAX (NOT COMPLETELY NEGATIVE) : So the climax was very fine BUT could've been better. It was quite an obvious climax. However again the climax had the power to leave you thinking about the movie forever. What if.... How... Why.... Whatever.... Yup these are the questions that will give thousands of answers. And that's the uniqueness of the film!

I liked the movie overall, there's mo doubt that the cast is amazing and the chemistry between the actors was everything! It's not a bad Movie I'd advise to watch it.

Kinda inspired from jim carrey movie The Truman Show. But they didn't copy the whole thing. I watched The truman show before love aaj kal porshu. But I enjoyed the film. Good one
