Monkey thief

Warning: Spoilers
The last in the three part series, this one turns to the monkey who steals a brief case and causes all sorts of trouble. The McCoy's are ready to pay their money, and they do. But then Mr. McCoy is thrown in jail when the man's briefcase comes up missing! So the children put on a circus with the elephant, the dolphin, and the monkey.

They don't realize a few things that were important for the results. One is realized during the show, the other is realized when Porter Ricks lays down the law and tells them what they have to do with the proceeds of the circus. Obviously, Bud is very disappointed! It seems something similar to this happened in the movie that was made (Chuck Conners played the father).

At any rate, it was a weak ending to the episode. I think the second was the best of all three.

Big Animal Show! - Lots of Thrills! - Admission $1.00

"Thus far in our story, the McCoys, with the help of Flipper, have avoided losing their baby elephant Esmay to their creditor. But, the time has come when they must pay him, or never see Esmay again," explains Ricks (Brian Kelly), in the series' first recap. Indeed, Sean McCoy (Pat Henning) pays Simpson (Guy Rennie), but mischievous "Daktari" chimpanzee Judy takes the money when nobody is looking. The chimp stashes the money, and Simpson reports it stolen. Finding a tie clip as evidence, the sheriff (Eric Applewhite) arrests McCoy.

To raise bail money, Sandy (Luke Halpin) and Bud (Tommy Norden) help put on a show: "Big Animal Show - Lots of Thrills - Admission $1.00." The show is a big success, and leads the Ricks and McCoy families to a satisfying conclusion. Thus concludes a three-part story guest starring soon-to-be "Daktari" star Cheryl Miller. The show is cute, with Ms. Miller and Flipper as performing highlights; she sings an original song about the McCoys multi-part visit, and Flipper does tricks. It's nice to see original dolphin's best friend Luke Halpin featured throughout the three-parter.
