Keshet International (Ki) CEO Alon Shtruzman is stepping down from the company at the end of the year, he confirmed today.
Ki is the content production and distribution arm of Israel-based Keshet Media Group (Kmg). The company first attracted international attention with its drama series “Prisoners of War,” which was adapted by Showtime to become the hit show “Homeland,” before cementing its presence in 2012 as Ki.
Shtruzman has been with the company since 2012 and it is under his watch that Ki established a global distribution and production infrastructure that has seen its shows, including “Suspicion,” “A Small Light” and “LA Brea,” picked up by networks from HBO and BBC to Netflix and Disney+.

Exclusive: BBC Studios-owned UKTV and Keshet are returning to the scene of a Richard Ayoade-hosted comedy game show after the original shoot was derailed by coronavirus.
Keshet Productions UK will record a run-through of Question Team at the Rich Mix cinema and arts center in London on Thursday, with Ayoade presiding over comedians in a quiz like no other, as the players themselves write the questions.
The run-through for UKTV channel Dave, which gave the world Taskmaster, was first slated to take place in March under the title Who’s Asking? but the plans were put on hold amid the production shutdown across the UK.
Now, with studio comedy and entertainment shows back up and running, Keshet is forging ahead again and plans to film in front of a live audience for an informal run-through. It is not a pilot and the recording will not broadcast.

HBO Max has released a new trailer for all three seasons of “The Great Pottery Throw Down,” which will be making its U.S. debut on the streaming service later this month.
The series, which hails from the creators of “The Great British Baking Show,” uses the same format as the hit baking competition in its search to unearth Britain’s best home potter.
Each season of the series follows ten potters as they forge fantastic creations in a competition-style format. At the conclusion of each episode, one potter faces elimination after the judge’s scrutiny and review for the chance to become Potter of the Week.
The show first premiered on the BBC in 2015, with the most recent season airing on Channel 4 back in January. All three seasons will be available to stream on HBO Max starting Thursday, Sept. 17.

HBO Max’s newest reality dating series “Singletown” makes its U.S. debut on Thursday nearly a year after airing on the U.K.’s ITV2 as a companion to the wildly popular “Love Island.” It’s a comparison producer David Williams says forced the series to be able to stand out from the crowded reality dating space from very the beginning.
“It’s so different than a traditional dating show,” Williams told TheWrap. “We advertised it as the ultimate test to your relationship.
The show revolves around five real couples whose break-up is caught on camera prior to their arrival in “Singletown,” a.k.a. London. There, they take on a crash course in dating other people with the goal of reevaluating their own relationships at the show’s “love locket ceremonies,” where they can decide whether to stay in the game or get back together.
