Resolution of the baby?
billsoccer13 September 2020
Warning: Spoilers
Johns romance appears to be unraveling and the team - through some hard-to-believe efforts by Dakota Fanning - retrieves the Spanish baby. What suspense is there for the final episodes though??

This season isn't just about the mystery of the stolen babies.

Warning: Spoilers
I see some people complained because they don't know what more could be done in this season to solve the mystery. However, this show is about more then the mystery. It's about the relationships between the characters. The love scene at the end is beautiful and was so obviously directed/designed by a woman, thankfully. The show is called the Alienist because it's about psychology and profiling, seemingly of everyone, including the lead alienist. Solving a mystery is simply the vehicle the show uses to showcase the use of psychology and profiling in criminology. As for the mystery of the stolen babies, we still have yet to see how/if the culprit will come to justice.

Like the Show, Miss More from the Alienist

Warning: Spoilers
First Time, i Write a Review. I Loved the First Season, Even when i thought Dakota Fanning is not well casted. Her character is extremely annoying. But this Season: i still like the Story line, the costumes, the atmosphere, the mystery, the cast.

But with the Focus on Fannings character, the focus of the Show shifts. Especially the Love scene at the end i skipped. Dakota has no chemistry with Evans. I want the Mystery, Not a Love Story. Why Not Focus on the title of the Show: the Alienist! That why i only give a 7.

That is why i am still watching! I Hope the Last episodes concentrate on every character equally.

Otherwise i liked that the Baby was already found and the villain is on the run, i hope we See more from Daniel Brühl and Lara Pulver. I loved the Dinner / drinking scene between them .

Ridiculous
debfullofjoy9 August 2020
This episode was ridiculous. It was so dark I couldn't see anything. Some scenes were completely black! Was I supposed to use my imagination as to what was happening? I've watched more than half the season and I'd like to know how it ends but it's getting harder and harder to watch.
