"An enjoyable family entertainer especially for Mangalureans"
ConfusedRoulette13 October 2019
The movie focuses on the life of a young guy named Rakshit, belonging to a middle class family. After completing his graduation, he is not sure of his next step in life. His father wants him to go to Dubai and land a job there but Rakshit wants to set up his own Lungi shop business. Does he succeed in his venture? Watch the film to know that! Also there is a love angle attached to the film which works quite well for the viewer.

The movie has been shot entirely in Mangaluru and the Kannada dialect spoken in the film is also typical to the place having a lot of slangs. There are also many other aspects used in the film like the architecture showcasing the red tile roofed houses and the cuisine. If you are a Mangalurean, these very factors will make you feel as if you are in that place itself, making the film an enjoyable affair.

The film has quite an impressive screenplay dished out with a mix of emotions. The cinematography is excellent and keeps the viewer engaged. There are also some melodious songs which add to the positives. However, story wise the film unfolds in a slow manner and somehow feels as if it deviates from the main point which it tries to make. The film is not clear in its approach as to what exactly it wants to show the viewer.

Most of the actors have performed nicely in the film. Pranav Hegde debuts in a laudable fashion and his chemistry with the cute and beautiful Ahalya Suresh is quite a treat to watch. Prakash Tuminad and Deepak Rai Panaje stand out with their impactful performances. Radhika Rao also impresses with her performance.

Overall, this film is quite an enjoyable family entertainer and can be a good timepass watch especially if you are a fan of the Mangalurean accent!
