so so stories
rickjones-4875614 January 2020
Obviously more of a reel for James Tyson than for Kiana (Bigfoot Girl).

He talks about how priviledged he was to talk to Tom Gimlin of the Paterson-Gimlin film 4 minutes in and a minute later calls him Tom again as if they are buds on a first name basis.

Not only did this mental giant refer to Bob Gimlin as Tom in the first 5 minutes of the video, he didn't correct or edit it out in post. That tells you all you need to know about this video.

I feel bad for Kiana for being shafted in this video and forever linked to this poser.

Not a lot going down
didier-2016 February 2020
We liked Kiana and would have liked to see what she had to say given as much time as the over intense and dominating James Tyson, who for all his talk brought nothing at all to the question of captured Sasquatch evidence.

Tom Sewid was the charismatic star of the show for obvious reasons. His tales of Squatch encounters on Vancouver Island were compelling, not just because they constituted authentic oral evidence but because of their capacity to animate history, place and local culture.

But the problem with Squatch-world is it's full of blobs, fakes, fools, failures, and fantasists. A doc has to rise above that level to gain credibility. Besides our encounter with Sewid, there was the question of indented foot prints and a cast taken of one. But for the audience this was only ever presented as a question and without including the follow-on verification journey does not lift the film above the high water mark. Other reported sounds were not captured by the team's audio equipment and so again only leave them all looking suspect and silly.

If people are going to make a film then consider the fact viewers need to be included equally in all potential evidence events. Also why do Sasquatch-docs insist on using ridiculous horror film music for what they are trying to present as an ancient natural indigenous species ? Surely traditional Indian music will suffice.

Zero Content. Pointless Doc.
cjohnsen-561-7095102 January 2020
Nothing happens in this documentary. They heard some noises in the woods at night while camping that they subsequently decide were Bigfoot. Of course, we don't get to actually hear these noises, no one recorded them, despite being there with a camera crew.

Not only that, there are no interesting discussions, theories, or ideas discussed. "Bigfoot Girl" is an actress who allegedly saw a Bigfoot when she was 6yo. She adds nothing to the film. I've seen a fair amount of vapid, poor documentaries about cryptids in my time but this was the worst. Completely devoid of anything interesting whatsoever. This is 75min of my life I won't get back. Do not waste your time. I'm astonished at why this was even made.

Mockumentary? Not sure.

Warning: Spoilers
Imagine filming a few days in the woods and calling it a documentary about bigfoot. There is nothing of substance here. A plaster cast of an indention. That's. About. It.

There are a few unintentional laughs to be had. Several sound problems. Camera men getting sleeping and drifting. Psychic gibberish. A man pretending to be an expert guide.

All in all it is a waste of time.

Wwwwooooowwwwww

Literally couldn't get past 25min, I really tried! I understand low budget but come on, did they even have an editor for this?? WHO IS ASHLEY??? Why would they open the film with Kiana's microphone being half assed?? Why would they start off saying over the next few minutes they would be interviewing people and then not interview someone until like, 15min later?? Everything was so incredibly long, they clearly didn't edit down a single interview or landscape shot taken from a car. I could write a troll review but it's just so unbelievably bad that I can't.

Do not waste your time

Warning: Spoilers
This was seriously absolutely ridiculous. I was really excited and anticipating even just a spotting of Bigfoot. It was so moronic. First off they think they're going to "lure in Bigfoot" with cherries. Yes cherries hanging from branches. Then supposedly they hear Bigfoot yelling, but no one actually hears it. There is a Sasquatch footprint by their camp the next morning, although you don't get to see Sasquatch leaving the footprint even though they had like ten motion activated game cameras set up. Worst of all their fearless leader is a native American who in my opinion is 100% completely full of s**t. DO NOT WATCH THIS

Nothing happens

I didn't expect to see Bigfoot but absolutely nothing happens. They apparently hear sounds but you won't hear them a complete joke.

Where was bigfoot girl?
jfost7514 October 2020
I agree with all the other reviews, this was a waste of time. Primarily, it was footage of a middle aged hipster self proclaimed psychic talking about everything except bigfoot and a buddy native American man rambling on and on like he hasn't had human contact in years. The funniest thing was how "bigfoot girl" (poorly chosen title) is never seen IN the actual woods. She rides the ferry in, then is seen walking in her little hooded sweater (no gear) and then the rest of the film is about some blonde girl named Ashley. Seemed pretty obvious that Kiara didn't actually bother to hike into the woods. This was beyond bad and offers nothing entertaining.

Oh. My. Goodness.

The worst. Rambling on & on & on geeeeezzzz. No editing of the "interviews". Just not worth watching at all. I guess it's good if you want to take a nap?

They did it
tannermondok13 March 2020
They found him.

Finally after all these years someone found him and we can thank kiana. She went into the woods and found the big man himself. I was so surprised to see she got a sit down interview with the man too. That's been a life long dream of mine to see. All in all I highly recommend watching this if you want to finally see proof of Bigfoot. We can all thank Bigfoot girl for this great achievement in US history.

Thomas Sewid is a gift
ellenrlangille15 February 2021
Most of this movie aligned more or less with the 0/10 stars reviews... But Thomas Sewid is the best. 10/10 for Thomas Sewid and 0/10 for the rest of this movie.

Rename it to "Dumb" girl
grusk-3158022 December 2020
Warning: Spoilers
What a waste and pathetic documentary. Complete waste of time. This is what happens when some dumb person creates a documentary for show-off and fails on a monumental level.

Where are the Emmys?
PartialMovieViewer22 March 2020
Warning: Spoilers
I can't believe all the negativity. Mills pictures Studios ones it again by golly. To begin with that wrist wrapped by a cheap silver bangled bracelet superglued my eyes to the screen and could not stop watching this. Thomas Sewid and Ashley Custeau should be each getting awards without any election. OMG, the drama, what depth, and that heart-wrenching emotion - WOWEE!!!!! Holy Yeti Batman, this show is like 10x-spectacular. If I had a third had, three thumbs up. Thomas Beckman's music was so gripping. How gripping was it? It was so gripping, it would let go of me until two hours after I turned the show off. After watch most of this program, I am now a true believer. Kiana has convinced me, I'm sold.
