Save for the underlying theme of exploitative coal mining in Jharkhand and the conviction of a man towards his dog - a metaphor for his stubbornness in the face of threats by the powerful - A Dog and His Man fails. I was bored to almost death with the uneventful proceedings even as the lead actor puts up a good show at evincing his plight. TN.
