Karthik had started waning by the end of 90s .Sagging cheeks , conspicuous wig , eye bags are very visible .The heroine Roshini comes from a family of great lookers Nagma and Jyotika being her half sisters. She is stone faced for most of the movie . Looks nice pretty soft with absolutely no expressions . She is the daughter of the PM . Her family wants her to marry her cousin and get into politics after her father's death. She runs away to Chennai and comes across Karthik and Goundarmani two wastrels and small time cheats . She starts living with them . Such illogical things happen only in our movies . Simpleton Karthik tries to get her married to a big Dubai groom . Slowly she starts liking him . Despite her feelers and a few dream duets later too , he does not understand her . He realises the Dubai groom story is a farce when the marriage brokers are caught by the police . Meanwhile Nizhalgal Ravi the CBI officer in charge of finding her , gets to her and takes her back to Delhi . Both Karthik and goundarmani land in Delhi . After much confusion with Tanjore restaurant owner Visu ( in a small role ) there , they manage to find Roshini . Then Karthik realises he too has feelings for her . In the end all becomes well after a few fights and misunderstandings . Its a one time watch with nice songs in green locales .
