A story of mining in Australia; it makes an offering full of interest. The characters are new; this means a great deal, though it seems to be very little. One gets very tired seeing a score of actors play the same conventional American prospector. The backgrounds are fresh, which also counts for a little. The story, in itself, is conventional with fresh minor incidents; is clearly told and acceptable. The photography is clear enough. The audience watched it closely. - The Moving Picture World, June 28, 1913
