It's a damn funny show, same type of humour as Mr Pickles, not as much murder but still the randomness and awkwardness that was prevalent throughout the previous show. It's definitely worth a watch, though I do miss that damn evil dog.

Some people should be banned from giving reviews... This show is a solid spin-off of Mr. Pickles. Seems like most people hate it (and subsequently gave it a 1/10 review, not even taking into account the actual positives the show has to offer, showing the vastly prevalent like/dislike culture (e.g. Amazon, YouTube etc.) vs. using your brain to give a score based on positives/negatives) because it isn't Mr. Pickles - however, the title should have been a dead giveaway.

The show has almost the same characters (minus Mr. Pickles) and they are mostly hilarious. The absurd tone of Mr. Pickles is most definitely not lost here (i.e. S01E07 "Sunday Man"), although the gore has slightly decreased. However, this makes the show a bit more accessible for non-Mr. Pickles fans. The jokes are solid, and the characters are unique and interesting.

Considering this has only 1 season I'd say watch the whole thing and make up your own opinion. As a fan of Mr. Pickles (8-9/10) I found this show to be a solid spin-off.

This show isn't golden, but it's got potential for greatness. Sheriff was my favorite part of Mr. Pickles, so I'm glad it got a spin-off. His antics are so unpredictable and fun. I've watched the whole season about five times now. Really hoping there's a season 2.

Seriously, what did they do to Mr. Pickles? The first 3 seasons were great, but now they kill him off and make it about the Sheriff? This is ridiculous! I feel betrayed and so disappointed! I really hope this is a gimmick and Mr. Pickles comes back later toward the season because this is just terrible. #BringBackMrPickles!!!!!

Mr. Pickles is a great show for sure, but I am glad they did bring it to a good end. I never saw Mr. Pickles as a show that would run forever like South Park.

But I like the idea to keep on exploring the weird universe of the show and the sheriff is a great character to do so. Yes, he is an annoying character somehow, but weird characters are what I like about this show... hoping for a second season! Haters gonna hate :)

Killing off Mr. Pickles and making the most annoying one-trick pony of the show the centerpiece of the new series? This is for all the people who wanted a Scrappy Doo series.

All throughout this first season you get different types of terrible humor and they all seem to crack me up. I'll definitely be watching the seasons to come

What this looks like is that the politically correct crowd has won again. It looks like the producers abandoned their sick twisted ways and gave a more dry monotonous twist to the series. I understand Mr. Pickles was a little too "out there" for most people. It was very controversial. But I liked it and many others did too. But this show? It's not funny. Actually it's probably the least entertaining show on adult swim rn. Sheriff's dry monotonous humor is very underwhelming. Aside from a couple short belly laughs. Add this onto the fact that this used to be where Mr. Pickles cast his reigns.

A lot of people were hoping for Mr Pickles. I hope one day the producers look and see how many people they disappointed and try to bring back Mr. Pickles. In the meantime, I, along with many other people, change the channel when this show comes on. Then I tune back to adult swim after 12:30am when the show finishes. Whether or not you liked Mr. Pickles, if you saw the show, it left its mark on you either way. You remembered Mr Pickles. You will never find a person who saw the show and didn't remember the name right away. That's part of what makes a quality show. But Momma Named Me Sheriff is forgettable unless they some how make it lead to a resurrection of Mr Pickles or the puppy. Even then, people seeing Mr (or Ms) Pickles are going to remember that and the only thing MNMS will be remembered for is "that lifeless gap in the series that we don't miss"

While Mr. Pickles wasn't exactly 100/10, it was fun in it's own way. Instead, they replace Mr. Pickles with the dumb and useless Sheriff? I'm sorry but this show is a disrespect to the original and I wish it was taken off the air and replace with something better!

Its not as good as the original show, but still features many of the good characters. I loved sherrif in the original, but i think he is better as a side character.

I hope the creators keep delivering awesome short content.

The only reason I watched this is that it reminded me of Brickleberry. That was a show that was stupid, but had some promise and humor. Now let's get to this show. It is, in a word -- unwatchable. The writing is nonsensical, the jokes aren't close to funny , and the editing looks like it was done by someone banging their head on a keyboard. I'm not usually "too" mean, I'm just honest, but in this case, I'm going to be mean. This is a slight exaggeration, but I'm semi-serious. All of you involved with the production of this show better go back to school or consider a different line of work...this just...bl*ws! Start to finish, it's just horrible.

The animation's ugly, the voice work is annoying, and it's boring.

I never watched mr pickles so did not know what to expect... Found it quite entertaining... Characters were lively and did not feel bland...

They took the best character from me pickles, gave him the leading roll, and made Goodman his deputy; this show is too funny.

I really hate this show, Sheriff is the most immature, annoying, and stupidest character on the show, he acts like a spoiled child and Mr. Goodman gets picked on throughout most of the show, Mr. Pickles was SO much better, and I think the spin-off should've focused more on his puppy rather than Sheriff. #BringBackMr. Pickles.

Seriously, they freaking ruined the end credits sequence, with the "Hi Will, Hi Dave" thing in the Day by Day Productions slide being in MONO, instead of stereo like it was in Mr. Pickles! Now how much sense does that make? You ruined the whole gimmick of that slide, and it just makes the rest of this show unpleasant!

Shows that go on too long always end up sucking. Just look at Rick and Morty. The whole Mr. Pickles killing people thing was done to death but I'm sure Mrs Pickles will eventually start killing. Long live Sheriff!

Killing Mr. Pickles and give us Mrs.pickles? We like Mr.pickles as a male more even though Mrs. Pickles would be fine than this MNMS, I really hoping you guys revive Mr.pickles somehow, there is many ways! In season 3 finale thats really great ending and went downhill after you kull Mr. Pickles, you realise it? #Bring Mr. Pickles back and remember Bringing Mr. Pickles back is better than replacing Mr. Pickles with Mrs. Pickles

I was a huge fan of Mr Pickles, but have to admit that at times they kind of just tried to out-shock themselves rather than focusing on comedy (though obviously it had a ton of that too).

From the catchy as hell theme song to the rapid fire jokes, I loved this spin-off show immediately. It still has the great characters we dug from Mr Pickles, and some solid newcomers (like the Dispatcher with a heart of gold).

I get why some fans of Mr Pickles aren't feeling this, but man, I really found it hilarious. It's absurd of course, but that's a huge part of the charm. The episodes are short enough to blow through quickly, and I really think you'll enjoy it!
