It's an alright game but it's honestly kind of repetitive. The art style and strategy involved is the only thing it's got going for it. Also why do I have to insert my CREDIT CARD DETAILS to freely chat on mobile, can't I just send an email?

This game was super popular back in late 2020-early 2021. Everyone was playing it. And there were lots of fanart, fan animations, gameplays and memes about it online during that period. I got the chance to play it back in January 2021 and what can I say? It's not a bad game.

It's a modern version of a popular card game mafia where we have crewmates that have to do tasks and solve a mystery. But the mystery is about an imposter and who exactly it is. The goal of the imposter is to sabotage the spaceship and kill others. But they need to be careful, because if they get caught, they will lose and crewmates win. The graphics are simple but well done. Each character looks like a funny colorful bean that is similar to the minions in despicable me, which makes the customization easy. There are also hats, suits and pets, which players can purchase in a store, though that requires real money. But no need to worry, there's plenty of free hats to you can wear to distinguish yourself from others. The gameplay is fun, because of it's unpredictability. Unless your the one who is the killer, you don't know who is it. But you can find evidence like dead bodies or vents or fake tasks, to make sure that they are sus (short version of the word suspicious). I enjoyed playing this game a lot during the first half of the previous year. However, sooner or later, you'll get tired of playing the game. Because most tasks would repeat over and over again, which will make the game seem more boring, especially if you are a crewmate. And the chances of getting the imposter is pretty low, so if you are one, consider yourself lucky.

Since Among us is an online game, it will include online interaction like chat. And there are lots of people who play the game. As a result, some of them can get on your nerves. Some only play the game just to find a girlfriend or a boyfriend, some would insult others and use swear words, some would have inappropriate nicknames and even some of them would leave the game because they got the crewmate role ten times in a row. But others are actually nice and play the game fair, by respecting others and even helping by doing tasks when you are a ghost in it. So it also depends on the players on how the game will go, smoothly or horribly. I will recommend this game, even though there is a big chance that you already did. Have fun!

I've played this for long periods, watched YouTube videos about it, and it's always entertaining! I recommend this game and it's only $5 on Steam. It's very fun and simple. (It can destroy friendships too)...

Nice strategy and roleplay game but as in every online game, players can make the game unbearable with meaningless movements. It is not desired to end at all with quality players.

The game itself is fine, simple concept, nice artstyle and not overly complicated gameplay.

The main problems are the community and the glitches.

Community is mostly god awful. Almost every round you play with toxic 5 year olds or guys who just randomly kick or ban people. Sure, there are some nice people and it feels great when you are actually in a decent group, but it happens very rarely. Also plenty of hackers that usually join and proceed to spam everyone with insults, fly through walls and end rounds in seconds, making the game not fun. Those hackers usually cannot be kicked by voting or by host because they just aren't shown as a kick option.

Next, an even bigger problem is glitching. Not sure how it is on PC, but on mobile it's pretty much unplayable a lot of times. Sometimes you get randomly kicked out of lobbies or not being able to join lobbies at all. People are marked as dead in the vote menu, even though they are alive (this glitch only happened like twice in my entire playtime) or the impostor kills literally everyone, but the round does not end. After the match ends you sometimes get a black screen and the only option for you is to close and re-open the game. Among Us is buggy as hell, even though it was completely fine around a year ago.

The only way to have fun is in a private lobby with friends, but you still aren't save from all the bugs and glitches.

Honestly, it is sad to see what this game is becoming. It was sooo much fun around a year or two ago, less bugs, nicer playerbase, but now it has basically become a meme, a bad parody of itself. I suggest you playing it. It's only a few dollars on Steam and free on mobile, just see the cool artstyle, the concept and who knows, maybe you will meet some nice people out there.

Oh god I love among us it is just too sus!!! I love it so much oh god it's stuck in my head every time I see imposta irl (like trash can, fire hydrant, etc.) I literally go crazy oh god help oh man I love among us I really just can't get enough of it! Recommend to anyone who loves being either sus or just plain cool. Peace out.

Despite the memes making me mentally insane for a short amount of time this game is fun as fuck, a pretty decent community + good game play = great game man. But i do have problems; people piss themselves and leave the game if they are not imp, people spam the living FUCK out of emergency button and Mfs get mad at little things like what colour you are. But still 7.3/10.

I highly really recommend this game . It's really so much addictive and thrilling both as becoming a crew member and also as imposter.

I like the game but I prefer fall guys a lot. This game is loads of fun but I prefer fall guys.

The gameplay mechanics are extremely flawed, people don't take it seriously an nothing works properly. It only works if you play on private matches, otherwise, it is really bad.

This game is pretty boring now. I played it non stop for about a couple weeks maybe 1 or 2 months. But then it started to bore me. Then the updates came. And still the game was boring and actually I think it got worse. Amoung Us is a game you can't play more than a couple months before being extremely bored playing it. But I don't think its an awful game though, it is an honestly good game. But I just found it boring after awhile.

I can't stop playing. It's too fun. You should definitely give it a try.

Its fun for a bit but it does get boring. I spent around 20 hours and it's a decent and really cheap game. If you have friends to play it with then I don't see any reason not to try it.

It's a good game and all but extremly overrated and gets boring after a few rounds and you run out of things to do after a couple of rounds on each map

This game affects you both in-game and out. The gripping, thrilling experience of completing the many difficult tasks while also evading the deathly grasp of the impostor creates an incredibly terrifying yet also humorous experience. During one match, one of my fellow cremates (or so i thought) expertly manipulated the deep mechanics of the impostor, and used his exceptional intellect to eliminate me whilst I was completing tasks within the electrical system room. This game has so much nuance and such a high skill ceiling that there is always something new to learn.

Ok Ok Ok let me explain. Among us is a really simple game who blow up during the pandemic. It INCREDIBLE. This game has a lot of good gameplay for PC and Xbox (mobile it a bit harder) and really good concept. But my advise is this. If you play in public lobby there gonna be a lot of cheater, hacker and 0 iQ people. But If you play with your friend, after 2h of play you don't have friend anymore ( I'm joking)

This game seems to be inspired by Death by Dinner Party, an episode of American Dad that was released just a few months before this game. Very weird, huh.

It's extremely overrated. Literally nothing original. Just another murder mystery game. If you like it, give me one good reason other than "It's fun" or "the memes." At least people weren't shoving Fortnite in my face. People hate Fortnite for being boring and repetitive, but that's exactly what Among Us is.

EDIT, FEBRUARY 20, 2021: Knew the Among Us toddlers would vote no and say my review wasn't helpful without even reading it. If famous youtubers didn't play it it probably wouldn't even be as popular as it is now, probably not known at all.
