I totally forgot about those curses, it brought me back. I laughed my ass off the whole episode.

A perfect mixture of olde world superstition and modern tech. The mailer-daemon tag was particularly inspired. This installment is one of the more apt examples of why I love this show's particular blend of humour. WWDITS is definitely in my top ten favorite programmes of all time. Kudos to the writing staff, directors, and actors that bring it all to such vibrant life.

Nando uses Guillermo's computer to get his e-mails. In it is a chain letter where a curse is promised if orders are not followed. The problem is they don't know any e-mail addresses to write to. So they begin to gather whatever they can get. Guillermo ends up with that mosquito/vampire killer group. They have targeted a house. At first Guillermo thinks it's the house of the vampire, but they have picked somewhere else. Al place full of zombies and other creatures. Once again, our hero, who is constantly maligned, must save their bacon with no gratitude. There is a funny scene as everyone goes to bed.
both A and B plots work

Warning: Spoilers
Writing this from 2023 and catching up to the current S5. This is a standout episode, where both the A and B plots are good. The vampires trying to deal with technology manages to avoid the more obvious comedy as they attempt to interpret things from their weirdly blinkered perspective.
Guillermo's plotline is even better. I love it when they try to balance his wish to be a vampire vs his fate to be a slayer. He does the badass slayer thing so well, it's frustrating how little we get to see it. And it turns out that much later on, this story has important surprising consequences. This show is so good at bringing back an old plotline in a way you could never guess.
However (and this is not a spoiler because it's not followed up on, at least not that I've seen) I got the strange impression that Craig Robinson's character was a vampire who was cleverly eliminating the competition by starting a vampire-slaying group. What other explanation could there be for them attacking a vampire house at night? Hmm. Maybe another plotline that will reappear when we least expect it? Either way, Robinson is worth bringing back for another episode or two.

Don't get me wrong I love this show soooo much that I'll watching anything they put out but after reading some negative season 2 reviews I can't help but compare between the two seasons and without a doubt season 1 had a purpose, the jokes clicked. All in all it was the whole package. Ive watched it three times already lol. Anyway, this episode was fun and a 7/10 imo.I wish there was more going on.
Really liked the Nandor guillermo interaction at the end tho.
