So...the situation set up in the previous episode is resolved pre-credits and we're back to way too much of the episode being taken up by Jason Behr getting dressed up in period clothes for over-long back story. And no-one being able to choose a side in shipping wars. And Max being a dick. And no-one being able to decide how many generations apart Alex and Tipp are meant to be.
On the plus side, the ancillary characters all get their nice moments of resolution, namely Kyle, Rosa and Jenna. And Alex gets to sign a nice song.
Oh, and someone finally shoots Jesse Manes in the head, so there's that.
