Worst. Decision. Ever.

Warning: Spoilers
I eagerly anticipated Heidi and Tim's new series, and overall, I enjoyed it. The designers were talented, and the production was impressive.

However, the finale destroyed me. Esther thoroughly deserved to win. I actually appreciate Jonny's work, and loved watching him grow. That being said, Esther grew more and presented an artist vision in her finale show that gave me goose bumps. She demonstrated tremendous range in her ready-to-wear pop up store, and then transformed it through her artistic rendering on the runway. I can see her designs at the Oscars and on the street. So disappointed.

Yeah fixed!!! Warning: Spoilers
Oh what a waste of time only to find its fixed. The fix was in at least 4 episodes ago. What a disappointment! No WAY Jonny Cato should win over Esther. His first four were good but there was no cohesion after that. Just pulled from multiple existing styles. Whereas Esther had a clear theme and style. Which is a real pity because I loved the format. But it's not worth it when the end is predetermined.

Predictable

Warning: Spoilers
Naomi was the only good thing about this show. Esther and Sander were the best and it was predictable that Jonny was going to win when Sander lost to him in the pop up shop. Jonny was talented but not in comparison to Esther or Sander. Of course an American had to win.. vomit. Jonnys looks were nothing new.. to me his looks are a copy of the brand All Saints. Esther and Sander deserved better. Was a fun show to watch mainly for Naomi Campbell!

Like waking up with Trump as president.

Warning: Spoilers
It's not just because the true essence of the winner was foreshadowed by the dishwashing glove atrocities he put in the runway to defect from his lack of style #tacky, or that Altruzarra and Ritchie both seem to have voted based on the quality of the BJ they got from JC instead of his design aesthetic; it's because in the decade I've been watching Project Runway, I've never seen a star radiate so promisingly as Esther in the finale, when there's nothing but yourself to rely on. More promising than Christian, Dimitri, and Mondo. Not since baby Moses threatened the Egyptian thrown has there been a Passover of such biblical proportions as this episode

Jonny Rotten

Warning: Spoilers
I take some solace in picturing Ritchie, Alteuzarra, and Ferragani watching themselves fawning over the tacky clothing and rubber dishwashing glove accents, while Esther out shown every project runway star's finale, and being afraid to go out in public.

Very disappointed

Warning: Spoilers
Loved the show, but hated the outcome. What an anticlimax. It lost complete all of its credibility with this Amazon fixed win.

Completely disagree with judges
KRhea3311 September 2022
Warning: Spoilers
Typically I can see the perspective from the judges, but this episode was the furthest point I've ever felt. What they loved was ridiculous... as if they had their mind made up before this episode even aired. I am not saying that the designer doesn't have talent, only that I could not relate to the perspective from the judges. For me, it was hands down Rafael. Then Georgia and Yannik in third. I guess we will see what sells. Numbers don't lie and all opinions, mine or theirs aside, will be the actual winner. I was especially surprised by the last from Amazon that appeared to join in on the Yannik parade.
