If I could give this movie zero stars, I would. This movie has nothing going for it-choppy editing; nonexistent story; incoherent direction; and hammier acting than a farm full of pigs. Watching paint dry is a better use of 104 minutes of your life.

A decent script, a competent cast and crew and, most importantly, the will, time, money and passion to do it all. It's a wonderfully frustrating, rewardingly claustrophobic and tensely insular experience that sticks you right in the slightly off-kilter head of its protagonist and does a great job of making you feel exactly the way she does at every moment. The pace is almost perfect, as we're dealt a number of blows every time we begin to get comfortable in each new situation, and the slow descent from slightly strange to straight-up sinister is a palpable and uncomfortable one, though it isn't pushed quite as far as it perhaps could have been, and it keeps you unsure about everything you see. The nods back to classic seventies horror, It will keep you constantly on the edge of the seat throughout this gripping, agitating, intriguing and generally very entertaining thriller.

Poorly written, poorly acted movie. Can't find a single positive thing to say about it. My suggestion: skip it!

It's the same as any other horror movies Bollywood has produced in recent times!

This will haunt you for a very long time! There are times when we want to sit in bed and watch a horror film. And what makes watching this type of film when you come to know that this film is based on a true story and real people do exist as in the film. Cookie is one such film which is there to haunt you for a very long time.

Probably the worst hindi movie of 2020! Low budget! Awful acting! Bad editing! Director needs to go back to school!

Only positive was the interesting storyline which sadly the director was unable to visualise and masterpiece on screen. This could have been a decent horror flick but I guess when you put together talentless actors with an equally bad casting, editing, directing crew and a low budget, the end result can only be disastrous.

Don't bother it's a total waste of time!

I just returned from watching this. Found it totally absorbing. I found the format drew me in, making the viewing very claustrophobic. It is a very interesting horror movie. Just switch off your inner critic and enjoy the ride on the edge of your seat.

I really loved the movie. It showcases a genuine problem in most of the families. The horror part actually scare you in most part of the movie. I would say its a perfect amalgamation of a content based story with spine chilling scenes. The modern teen problem issue is very well addressed in the movie. There are few scenes which have left an unforgettable impression in my mind. One more thing I liked about the movie is that it broke away from the traditional night horror scenes and venture even into the day light horror scenes. Although the actors are not well known, but their efforts are good and the story and the screenplay adds on to the efforts. Rarely you get to see a horror movie which is driven by a good story rather than the horror itself. I must admit, after a long time I saw a good horror movie. As a parent myself, I am left with so many questions and thoughts after watching this movie.

As a fan this horror movie is amazing, I was excited to watch it and I expected more from the director since he is definitely comfortable with this genre. The performances are fantastic and the story was too good in this movie, And director Lalit Marathe is direct this movie is too good and very cray. I think you have must watch this movie!!!!!!!!!!!

This is a bit of an old fashioned horror movie. Something that plays as a dramatic movie first and then slowly becomes something else. Like "Rosemary" or "Exorcist" but without the high profile clout of those directors. This is two hours of an exploration of family tragedy and grief through characters struggling to something very scary. To say much of this film is to ruin it, so lashing praise onto certain aspects of it is the best one can do. It turns into a genuine nightmare that absolutely worked for me. See it blind, see it as a movie first and foremost (not as a horror show with jump scares), but just see it.

Director Lalit Marathe's COOKIE which means cuckooed or say fear of watching your loved one going crazy weird and lost. Lalit Marathe nicely blends this supernatural horror drama with tried and tested traits and is able to spin a wheel of a mystical air in the story of Cookie. Not a challenging jump scare but a decent scare fest with relatable emotions and characters. The film is technically sound with Tuhin Chongder and Somraj Ganguli's music creating the eerie feeling. Cinematography by Sudip Sengupta creates right moods with his effective lighting and shot taking technics.

It is probably the best looking Horror Hindi film I have ever seen. Vibhoutee Sharma acting two characters in this movie and both of character her performances were wonderful, the visualization and screenplay is superb, Dialogues are so Amazing.

Hats off to the producer for coning out with such a fantastic movie which has a amazing content .subject and theme.The movie is contemporary and relates to present day families especially in urban set up like my present location Kolkata. the movie has compelled me to think on aspects which we generally overlook in day to day life. I loved the creativity in the movie for the type of bone chilling scenes, which I was missing in Indian horror movies. The actors are not known so I went with a very low expectation, but the director and the graphics in the movie have overcome the shortcomings. I came out of the movie overwhelmed and with lots of thoughts. AND CERTAINLY SOME OF THE SCENES WHICH STILL GIVES ME GOOSEBUMPS. Cookie could be the next door neighbor's kid whom I see almost on a daily basis...

A worth watch movie. This movie will surely keep you going with the flows. This movie has everything in it. If you are a heart patient I would suggest you watch it on your own risk:0. Amazing direction, amazing storyline. Great work by all the cast and crew. Highly recommended.

The tone of the film Cookie is extremely dark and unsettling and makes good use of its limited locations. The script is well written, with effective dialogue and plot elements keeping it moving at a brisk pace with enough twists and turns to keep almost anyone's interest. At the core, this does remain a terrific horror film, but as far as horror films go, this is about as original as one can possibly expect. Highly recommended.

Fantastic movie....such a scary & beautiful story and many amazing songs. Something different? of course, just sweet & talented Vibhoutee Sharma is incredible...Exactly...This movie would break all records, be sure to watch it.

Cookie is a very nice Horror movie. I finally got to see a horror film that I enjoyed Amazing Story, Screenplay, Dialogues, and Music was so scary. The performance delivered by Vibhoutee Sharma was wonderful.

Kudos to the all-rounder Lalit Marathe and his team. They have presented and absolutely thriller-Horror movie of this year till yet. The role of the parents was also amazing and they have justified with the role. Shown how much you care for your child. Well played a role by Vibhoutee Sharma too. Great musicality gave this movie a more of the horror touch

Vibhoutee is one of a kind Amazing. Of course, Vibhoutee Sharma with her outstanding acting skills, gorgeous looks, and contagious charm should be in Bollywood. And there acting is too good in this movie. She looks very different and Scary in this movie.

I have watched a lot of brilliant horror movies in Hollywood but I went to watch this movie only to see how much improvement our Indian Horror Movies have done in recent . So after watching this movie, I will definitely say that there are enough horrific scenes and materials in this movie and at times it got scary as well. Nice background music and to some extent it really terrified the viewers. Lastly, I just want to say, unlike the other Indian Horror Movies, this film at least tried to be a good horror movie as there is no unnecessary songs or skin show in between the scenes. I recommend people to ignore the reviews and watch the movie urself. So Thanks Lalit Marathe to direct the wonderful movies.

A heart-wrenching tragedy with the protagonist which makes her live a life full of melancholy and guilt-ridden hallucinations and if that's not hard enough to handle then she has to deal with the haunted shadow with a twisted history of its own ...

If you take the time to enjoy the chaos, this cliché-riddled ride provides a solid bit of suspenseful fun. Music and screenplay INTENTIONALLY add to the effect of disorder, and a truly unhinged and surprising performance by Vibhoutee Sharma & all other casts. Super direction by Lalit Marathe. Loved it.

'Cookie' The storyline and the way it is told does have real substance and is horror from start to end. Vibhoutee Sharma is brilliant at displaying the erratic emotions of a troubled young lady trying to get her life together and so does the other members. Worth a watch.

Well-executed modestly budgeted film production. The result speaks for itself. A narrative with enough horror, suspense, thriller elements that has Mr. Lalit's signature as a filmmaker has written all over it. Impressive performance for Vibhoutee Sharma. Remarkable support from Rajeeb Gupta and Heeba Shah as parents, inmates that she has encountered in the psychiatric facility. Great Work.

From the beginning to the end you are not sure how to escape the scene. It builds up slowly and in a very natural way. The storyline is amazing, all the artists and editor Nipun Ashok Gupta, Parag Khaound has done the best work with scenes, Kudos to Lalit Marathe and team. Big recommendation.
