Josh Chambers, a former rugby league star and local celebrity, The Man of Steel, has a secret, and that secret is being exploited financially by his ex wife Carol, who needs money to bail out the man she left John for.
Thoroughly enjoyed this from start to finish, the outcome was obvious from the very off, but you have to credit the writing, and performance of Mark Addy, for making this a moving drama, with characters you begin to care about quite quickly.
The actress playing Carol did a great job, I found myself having her for the most part, before I saw things from her point of view.
Skillfully written, well acted, and a subject in sport which is still taboo, though you would think less important in this great game.
Excellent, 9/10.
