Lisa Vanderpump is defending Andy Cohen after a series of allegations made against him by former Bravo stars.
In a recent interview, Vanderpump came to Cohen’s defense after the Watch What Happens Live host was accused of sexual harassment and engaging Real Housewives stars to use drugs.
It was recently reported, and subsequently shut down by Cohen’s reps, that he was negotiating his Bravo exit. While appearing on The Talk, Vanderpump was asked about the rumors, to which she said, “Well, I hope not. I really do.”
“I’ve had a very close relationship with Andy over the years,” Vanderpump continued. “Andy and I have always had a very playful relationship. I think I’ve been one of the few people that have done Watch What Happens Live on their own for many years, and had a kind of very connected relationship, and he’s playful. A beloved former star of Bravo’s Real Housewives of New York is reportedly vying for the coveted role in the upcoming first-ever season of The Golden Bachelorette.
Fans of both shows are buzzing with speculation about the potential reality TV crossover. Could this be the moment that The Bachelor goes outside the franchise for the lead?
Rhony Reboot Renewed For Another Season
The Real Housewives of New York City debuted in 2008 as the second installment of what would be Bravo’s most popular franchise. But after 13 seasons, the entire Rhony cast was replaced with younger stars. Season 14 of the rebooted show premiered in summer 2023 to stellar ratings.
Bravo confirmed last month that the show had been renewed for Season 15 with Sai De Silva, Ubah Hassan, Erin Lichy, Jenna Lyons, Jessel Taank, and Brynn Whitfield all returning.

Rumors that Andy Cohen is set to leave Bravo amid serious misconduct allegations are untrue. While Cohen’s job at Bravo appears safe for now, the accusations against him are stacking up. We’ve collected the most recent allegations against the Bravo executive.
What are the allegations against Andy Cohen?
While Bravo insists Andy Cohen is not getting ready to exit the network, fans are still torn over the allegations against him. Things kicked off in February 2024 when Brandi Glanville came forward to accuse Andy Cohen of sexual harassment. According to Variety, Glanville’s lawyers have requested an apology from Cohen. In a letter obtained by the publication, Glanville said Cohen sexually harassed her during a phone call in which he told her he intended to have sex with an unnamed Bravo employee but that he would be thinking of her. Cohen has insisted it was a “joke” and that Glanville was “in” on it.

In the latest of a string of lawsuits indicating serious trouble in Bravoland, former Vanderpump Rules cast member Faith Stowers is accusing NBCUniversal of racial harassment, according to a complaint filed on Friday.
Stowers, who appeared in seasons 4 and 5 of the reality series offshoot of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, claims in the suit that castmate Lala Kent held a knife to her neck and threatened to “cut a bitch” during the filming of Vanderpump Rules, which follows the staff of Housewives star Lisa Vanderpump’s Los Angeles restaurant, Sur.
Vanderpump herself is named in the complaint from Stowers, who alleges that the reality TV star threatened to have her removed from her namesake show if Stowers couldn’t continue to work alongside her alleged assailant. The show’s executive producer also discouraged her from reporting the incident with Kent to local police, Stowers claims in the filing.

Dorinda Medley was once one of the most familiar faces of The Real Housewives of New York City.
Nowadays, the show has forged a new path with an entirely new cast, but Medley believes the recipe for success is mixing up the cast.
In a new interview on Page Six’s Virtual Reali-Tea podcast, the Rhony alum pitched a special that would find Erin Lichy, Sai De Silva, Jenna Lyons, Jessel Taank, Brynn Whitfield, and Ubah Hassan taking a trip to Bluestone Manor in the Berkshires.
“We should send those new girls up there for a night and see how they fare,” the 59-year-old declared.
Medley wouldn’t want to intimidate the new cast members, so she would ensure that only “a couple” of the legacy cast members were a part of the project.

In a surprising turn of events, the entire cast — Sai De Silva, Ubah Hassan, Erin Lichy, Jenna Lyons, Jessel Taank, and Brynn Whitfield — will be back.
Lyons is the biggest surprise of those names because many believed she was done with the series.
In a November interview with Hoda Kotb and Jenna Bush Hager, she wondered whether she would return for another season.
At the time, she revealed that she enjoyed being on the show to promote her endeavors but was questioning whether she wanted her personal life showcased on reality TV.
Jenna Lyons will continue keeping parts of her life away from the cameras.
“I also am in a relationship now, and I have to take that into consideration,” she said.
“How that impacts not just me but the people around me.

The ladies of NYC are headed back to Bravo.
After a major reboot last season, the network is sticking with the familiar for The Real Housewives of New York City Season 15. All six season 14 cast members will return to the show next season, Bravo announced on March 28.

Following a lackluster season 13, Bravo decided Rhony needed a major overhaul. Longtime cast members including Sonja Morgan, Luann de Lesseps, and Ramon Singer got the boot. In their place in season 14 was a fresh crop of housewives: Sai De Silva, Ubah Hassan, Erin Lichy, Jenna Lyons, Jessel Taank, and Brynn Whitfield. All will return for Rhony Season 15.

The new cast of The Real Housewives of New York is sticking around, as Bravo has officially announced that all six stars — including Jenna Lyons — will return for season 15.
Bravo shared the news in a promotional video, featuring the women on a simulated group FaceTime call.
“Is it there?” asks Jessel Taank.
“Listen to me, it’s there!” responds Ubah Hassan.
“I don’t know if it’s there,” says Sai De Silva.
“Well … I heard it’s really close,” interjects Brynn Whitfield, winking to the camera.
Erin Lichy then tells her co-stars, “Guys, I’m telling you — it’s there!”
Lyons adds, “Honestly, I’m going to be the one to dispel the rumors, because season 15, it’s there.”
Nodding to her comment about Tribeca in the previous season, Taank closes the video saying the upcoming season is “really up and coming.”
The premiere date for Rhony season 15 has not been shared yet.

Following Bravo’s reboot of “The Real Housewives of New York City” last year, the network has announced that all six cast members are set to return for its upcoming Season 15. Yes, that includes even the ostensibly elusive, seemingly reluctant Jenna Lyons, who came into the show’s 14th season as the cast’s only famous person, and revealed herself over the course of the show to be a shy, charming oddball — and who, since the season premiered in July of last year, has been the subject of endless rumors speculating that she would not care to repeat the experience.
Yet Lyons is in fact coming back to “Rhony” full time — which is good, because fans have nicknamed her Jenna Fucking Lyons, and that shouldn’t go to waste — along with Brynn Whitfield, Erin Lichy, Sai De Silva, Jessel Taank and Ubah Hassan. Bravo and Shed Media, which produces the show,...

Annemarie Wiley’s firing from The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills didn’t come as much of a surprise.
What was shown of her on-screen didn’t win her many fans, but there were plenty of rumors as Rhobh Season 13 was airing that storylines were left on the cutting room floor.
Yes, reality TV is heavily edited. That isn’t new information, but the 41-year-old was shown on-screen to have an unhealthy obsession with Sutton Stracke’s esophagus.
Beyond that, people didn’t get to see who she truly was, and the Daily Mail reports that was intentional because many of the scenes removed from the narrative involved the cast clashing with Wiley due to her political views.

A decade ago, Nick Viall, “fresh off” his first appearance on Andi Dorman’s Bachelorette, met Luann de Lesseps, and he confirmed that the veteran The Real Housewives of New York City star flirted with him. At the time, his exposure to TV was limited, whereas she’d already become well-known on the Bravo show.
Nick Viall Recently Caught Up With Luann de Lesseps
In 2014, a 34-year-old met a well-known face from Bravo, and Luann was nearing 50 years old. While he wasn’t a famous name on reality TV, she certainly was. So, he probably felt a bit flattered that she took any notice of him at all. The news that she got a bit flirty with him arrived via his popular podcast, The Viall Files when he caught up with her on March 21.

Rebooting a series that’s still very much on the air is no easy task, but the producers of The Real Housewives of New York managed to pull off the impossible.
How do you fire an entire cast and usher in a new era of a show that’s so beloved by fans?
The good news is that The Real Housewives of New York delivered in many key areas. There was drama, feuds, and new faces thrust into the spotlight.
As we look ahead to The Real Housewives of New York Season 15, new rumors are spilling out, and we’re pleasantly surprised.
Jenna Lyons, who seemed to disengage from the show of her own volition at several points during her freshman season, is expected to return.
In fact, Queens of Bravo reports that the cast — Sai De Silva, Ubah Hassan, Erin Lichy, Jessel Taank, and Brynn Whitfield — are all likely to return.

Leah McSweeney’s camp is speaking out after a plethora of Real Housewives stars publically backed Andy Cohen following her lawsuit against him and Bravo — saying “she won’t let anyone deny her truth.”
The former Real Housewives of New York star claimed in a lawsuit filed earlier this month that Cohen and Bravo had exploited her alcohol problem to secure the show bigger ratings.
McSweeney also claimed that Cohen used cocaine with select cast members and that these individuals had a more favorable edit.
Tamra Judge, Kyle Richards, and Sutton Stracke are just some of the names across the Real Housewives universe to have voiced their support for Cohen amid the accusations.
In a new statement to Page Six, McSweeney’s representatives said the fashion designer filed the lawsuit “based on her own lived experiences.”

On Hollywood’s biggest night, an exclusive viewing party in Beverly Hills brought together wall-to-wall reality television stars that gathered at Wolfgang Puck’s legendary restaurant Spago.
DirecTV Streaming With the Stars was an intimate affair for nearly 200 guests that was hosted by Rob Lowe. The event served plates of sautéed scallops and beet salads from the restaurant’s signature menu, along with specialty cocktails. And during a commercial break the DJ played “Happy Birthday” as staff wheeled out cakes and pies to celebrate Lowe turning 60 on March 17.
The host grinned with gratitude before turning his eyes to see the delivery of the Best Supporting Actor category on a screen in the middle of the lounge.
Watching his old friend Robert Downey Jr. take home the Oscar for “Oppenheimer” was a highlight of the evening for Lowe, who said he has known the Oscar winner since sharing a sophomore history class in Santa Monica.

Andy Cohen — executive producer of Bravo’s “Real Housewives” franchise and the host of its nightly talk show “Watch What Happens Live” — has fired back against allegations made in a lawsuit by Leah McSweeney, a former cast member of “The Real Housewives of New York City.”

On Feb. 27, McSweeney filed a complaint against Cohen, Bravo and NBCUniversal alleging that Cohen fostered a “rotted workplace culture,” as she told the New York Times in an interview. Leah McSweeney, a former star of Bravo’s The Real Housewives of New York City, has taken legal action against producer Andy Cohen, Bravo and other entities, claiming to have been subject to a “rotted” workplace culture while she was on the show that perpetuated discrimination and harassment.
In a civil lawsuit filed in New York, McSweeney alleged that Cohen, Bravo, NBC, production company Shed Media and producers John Paparazzo, Lisa Shannon and Darren Ward subjected her to discriminatory treatment and retaliation based on her status as a woman with disabilities, which included alcohol use disorder and various mental health disorders, all to generate drama for the show.
McSweeney asserts that the toxic work environment encouraged employees to consume alcohol and retaliated against her when she tried to maintain sobriety. The lawsuit further claims that producers intentionally orchestrated situations to exacerbate McSweeney’s disabilities, solely to create sensationalized reality television.

Brynn Whitfield was one of the breakout stars of The Real Housewives of New York City Season 14.
She’s cemented herself as a fan favorite with a bubbly personality, awe-inspiring fashion, and the inane ability to speak candidly in front of the Bravo cameras.
With the most recent season in her rear-view mirror, all eyes are on what happens to the show next.
Erin Lichy has already shut down rumors that the reboot cast would be sharing the screen with the OGs, but if Whitfield has her way, she’d like a veteran from The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills on the cast.
In an interview with Us Weekly, the 36-year-old had quite the response to being asked who she would pick if she could trade a Housewife for one from a different city.

The Real Housewives of New Jersey was the best show in the wide-ranging Real Housewives franchise at one point.
The cast clocked in with petty arguments and questionable fashion and delivered plentiful iconic moments.
It was TV that didn’t take itself too seriously.
In recent years, the cast has gotten more and more immersed in toxic arguments that have made us question why we’re still watching.
With another season of Teresa Giudice and Melissa Gorga not on speaking terms on the way, there’s a sense of “been there, done that, flipped a table over it.”
Thanks to Bravo rebooting The Real Housewives of New York City and recent rumors suggesting the same could be afoot for The Real Housewives of Atlanta, it got me thinking.
Rhonj needs a revamp
The only series in the franchise at this point that is practically screaming for a reboot is The Real Housewives of New Jersey.

When Bravo announced it would be rebooting The Real Housewives of New York City with a brand-new cast for Season 14, there were plenty of skeptics.
More than the other shows in the never-ending Real Housewives franchise, the New York ladies had the most iconic moments.
Fans tuned in in their droves to watch the women get wasted, argue, and do the same thing the next day.
After 13 seasons, it got exhausting, so change was necessary to keep the show alive. The ratings were diving when Bravo made the call, so many fans were tired of that behavior.
Despite the relative success of The Real Housewives of New York City Season 14, it’s hard not to think about what the dynamic would be like if some Og stars were thrown into the mix.
Something tells us Sonja Morgan and Brynn Whitfield would be a match made in reality TV heaven.

If The Real Housewives of New York Season 15 will be a mix of new and legendary cast members, it would be news to Erin Lichy.
Lichy, who joined the cast of The Real Housewives of New York City Season 14, is speaking out about the recent rumors, and it’s not good news for fans of the Og cast.
While Lichy and new housewives Jenna Lyons, Sai De Silva, Brynn Whitfield, Jessel Taank, and Ubah Hassan brought a different energy to the series, fans were still calling out for OGs like LuAnn de Lesseps, Sonja Morgan, and Dorinda Medley.
With Bravo tight-lipped about what’s happening with the show and filming yet to get underway, the rumor mill went into overdrive with reports that many of the newer cast members are on the chopping block in favor of bringing back some veterans.
It wouldn’t be a bad idea because it...

Kandi Burruss has confirmed she will not be returning to The Real Housewives of Atlanta after 14 seasons on the show.
The Grammy Award winner announced her decision to leave the show as she arrived at the Grammys on Sunday night.
“I’ve been going back and forth and I think because they gave us such a long break, I had a lot of time to do other things and I’ve got some big announcements to make coming soon, so yeah,” she told Et on the red carpet. “I mean, I love the girls, they’re my friends, I’m still gonna see them and hang out with them. And Bravo is my family, I love them as well, but you know.”
Burruss currently holds the title of the longest-running housewife on Bravo, having joined the franchise in Season 2 in 2009. After Season 15 of the reality series last aired in September...

Kandi Burruss announced that she will not be returning to “The Real Housewives of Atlanta,” the Bravo reality series she has appeared on since 2009. She discussed her decision with editor Marc Malkin for Variety’s On the Carpet, presented by Directv, at the Grammys on Sunday.
“I’m not really keeping up right now,” she said, when asked about the show. “I’m not keeping up. I already said it, so I’ll tell you. I decided I’m not coming back this year. It’s been 14 seasons, and they allowed us to sit around for a little too long, but during that time I had started working on a lot of other things, and I got some nice big projects coming soon, so I’m super excited about those things.
“But it’s not just that,” she continued. “It’s just like, after you really have time to think,...
