So fun!

Yeah, her accent is atrocious, but why hold this to big-screen-level standards? It's just a super-delightful little short, a glimpse into everyday people having subversive fun, and I was smiling just as much as the bystanders in the short.

Of course, I'm curious how large a camera they used for this, and if a large one meant that everyone present was actually (1) clued into what was actually going on or (2) a hired extra. I'd definitely like to know how real the reactions and interactions were. Was this treated as a small production or something slightly larger, with a noticeable crew present?

Either way, I enjoyed it! The banter with the 'bumblebee' was hilarious.

A real life Merida visits a Central park archery range and fun ensues

Fantastic short at 6mins. Merida shows up at an archery range and throws people for a loop. Whomever the archer is playing Merida, she is GOOD, really good. She is challenged and show both her sound and her archery prowess. It's a great episode to show your girls!

The Accent...

Irish/American isn't Scottish. We are... totally taken out of it... the effort put into every other episode vs this one is measured by the distance of the ocean separating the actresses birthplace and the country she was portraying.

Oh the accent

Painful to listen to if you are both Scottish and a fan of Brave. Amusing if you can get past the accent.

Where to start...

Oh god it's bad. So bad. The accent is more American than anything else with the occasional Irish or northern pronunciation thrown in... No hint of a Scottish accent. The girl is a great archer but the acting is just cringe worthy. Surely Disney Pixar can afford a Scottish actress instead of making a mockery of a whole nationality.
