Marcellus is to be adopted by Gaius. That's the bombshell news announced at the start of "Nightshade", which changes everything for multiple characters, not least of which is Marcellus himself.
"Nightshade" features a lot of sex and a lot of death, much of it taking place in Baiae, a luxury holiday town by the ocean. Probably the most important (not to mention shocking) episode so far, with a couple of main characters meeting their end in dramatic circumstances. Bribery, infidelity, betrayal and murder - all of it in a very idyllic location. What more can you ask for?
