The Wrong Path

Warning: Spoilers
Naruto's caped Fox starts his showdown. When Kabuto attempts to attack him, the Fox simply throws him an energy blast that takes him to a tree far away, and the impact knocks out Sakura. This breaks the bridge, so he charges at Orochimaru, taking the fight to land. As the bridge collapses, an inconcious Sakura starts to fall down, so Yamato tries to stabilize it. Meanwhile, Sai decides to start his secret mission, and abandons them to reach Orochimaru. When Sakura falls from the bridge, Yamato asks him to save her, but he coldly ignores them. The captain is forced to use wood to rescue her, and bring her back to the remains of the bridge. These events tell two things, Sai turns into an even more dislikable character than before, as he doesn't even bother to take Sakura to safety. He knew Yamato was there, but he didn't show the minimum sign of care. So far, he's worst than the old Sasuke. And the other, Naruto with three tails is not really concious, he already lost all reason, he didn't seem to recognize Sakura or Yamato, she was knocked out and he didn't care.

Then, after the attack, Orochimaru loses an arm, so his body reacts and in a disgusting way, forms another full body (like serpents shed skin). Still, considering his reaction this is not something he expected. His "immortality", and his use of other bodies to stay young, are taking its price. Meanwhile, as he feels he's not strong enough, Naruto, inside him, falls under the Kyuubi's control. He thinks that he he must save Sasuke, maintain their friendship at all costs (not lose what he gained), so he gives in to the anger and power. And so, Naruto transforms into a little Kyuubi, with four tails: his skin evaporates, blood drops float in the air, his eyes turn full red to white, the colour of his body turns into dark red. This is sad. Like before, Naruto is holding on to a memory of Sasuke, but he's not thinking clearly. Kabuto told him that Sasuke went to them willingly, Jiraiya too, and Naruto knows that. Sasuke was tempted indeed, but that doesn't change the fact that he made his own decision. What is sad is how Naruto is written to not let go the past. One of the reasons of why the First Arc (Rescuing Gaara) was amazing is because the protagonist's goal wasn't an obsession. It was the desperate need to save atrue friend, a fellow jinchuriki. It was a selfless motive. But here, Naruto wants Sasuke back because he doesn't want to lose a bond, or because he thinks he knows what's best for Sasuke. The Uchiha knows what he's doing, and Naruto will never change his mind about revenge. So why he holds on to that??? He said "give him back to me", it's possesive. What he learned in two years? Naruto shouldn't try to control someone's else life, instead, he should focus on the persons he can help. Sakura would have given up on her old teammate if it wasn't for his persistance. Anyway, this wrong path will be like this a long time. As the episode continues, Sakura wakes up and wonders about the bridge's destruction. Yamato tells the truth, Naruto did it, and when she asks where he is, he sends a wood clone to investigate: the clone learns about the transformation. Kabuto heals himself, and thinks "no wonder the Akatsuki are after him". Sai flies on his ink bird until he's taken down, he knows Naruto has turned into a big problem.
