Well I'll be honest. I haven't seen the broadcast. But here is the powerhouse Oakland Raiders led by the Mad Bomber, Daryle Lamonica. Joe Namath is leading the high-scoring Jets. The final score was 24-16. Namath had passed for about 403 yards and no touchdowns. What a game! To make matters worse for me, it was blacked out in my area. These were the days where all home games were blacked out, even if sold out. The Jets finished the season 7-7, runner up to the undefeated Dolphins. The Raiders would go 10-3-1 and a date with the Steelers in the famous Immaculate Reception game. I wish I saw this game. Howard Cosell must have had fun with this game.
