Just wanted to say well done and great job from a grateful Aussie fan. The episode was entertaining, uplifting and just what was needed. I hope you get renewed for a second season.

Impressed
marsala-168495 May 2020
I was wondering when art would imitate life, as they say, and a show would touch on what was happening in the world. I've seen some of the talk shows at home, but the connections aren't usually too good and people get blurry or can be hard to understand. I am not a regular fan of the show, but had to see how they did it. It definitely exceeded my expectations. It was well written, acted and produced. They touched on so many aspects of what people are dealing with currently, while still executing a well polished looking show. Bravo!

A Great Ending to the First Season
MovieTVRomanceFan5 May 2020
Ever since I first heard about this episode I was very excited and after finally watching it was a very satisfying ending to the first season. This episode truly showed all the very real struggles and difficulties with today's current events regarding the covid 19 pandemic, not only the hardships of being stuck inside, but the emotional struggles of being separated from friends and family. This episode was a great way to end the season and getting to see how everyone is during this hard time. Mark and Lola are as cute and funny as ever and their friendship ever so stronger. However, I will admit I was worried this trial would have affected their friendship since it was the first time ever that Mark has appeared in Lola's court. Thankfully, despite a small hiccup, their friendship remains in tact. Aside from their friendship, I also enjoyed seeing how the couples are dealing with their separations. Luke and Emily's love also grows stronger while they remain apart as does Mark and Amy. I'm glad the couples I love and support have made it through their first seasons together.

This was a very special and unique episode one that I will never forget and will surely watch again and again, especially someday in the future when this whole epidemic is finally over. I loved how it was filmed entirely through virtual online websites such as Zoom, Skype and so much more. Plus getting a peek inside everyone's real life homes were quite a treat that I really enjoyed. It was so much fun and just amazing to watch. In the end it was a very satisfying end for everyone, especially with the virtual dance party to lift everyone's spirits. This ending makes me very hopeful that All Rise will be renewed for a second season.

Outstanding

I wasn't sure what to expect but I have to admit I wasn't thinking I was going to enjoy it, but I did, I so did!

Wow. Great job expressing stress and frustration that will always be a part of life, sometimes more than other times, yet also how everyone can rise above, even with limited resources and methods, with hope and ingenuity to make a positive impact on the world. We have can have a part to play with our individual talents and expertise, and it's better for all of us to do so.

Fantastic! I love this show in general, and specially this episode. Keep them coming!

Echoing the first review
Well done, everybody!

To be honest, while I regularly watch and enjoy this show, I like it because it represents a different reality from the one I know to exist. It is the essence of escapism for me: a world wherein judges are qualified and decent, regardless of political affiliation; a world wherein a DA turns out to be a genuinely empathetic human being; a world wherein justice is not solely the product of magical thinking. It is a 40+ minute mental break. Amazing actors, well designed wardrobes and sets, interesting stories...delightful, but an orange to Damages' apple.

However, you all have really exceeded my expectations!

Not only is this a show to be proud of as a well-crafted cross between soap opera and social commentary, this is a passion project. Clearly, this means a great deal more to you all than solely a great job, and I want to thank you for your dedication to the ideals every patriot and basically decent human cannot resist making manifest. You are clever, brave people, speaking truth to power, and doing so in an entertaining, enlightening fashion.

Thank you.

Congratulations to all involved, you managed to make a show work in the midst of a pandemic and still give it a positive vibe. Hopefully we'll all meet again in the next season.

Covid 19 comes to Hollywood
markm-007755 May 2020
Loved this episode! Well crafted using the technology we have all been getting used to for the past two months ourselves. The timing to get this episode produced and the quality of the production, its hard to believe they got this put together as fast as they did. The storyline in the trial really didn't break new ground, but using technology in the courtroom, and the pros and cons that go with it were very well displayed. The loneliness of this time was obvious when all our characters were on display trying to get through this most unusual time in history. As the first scripted show to go to air, and with backgrounds that made you feel you were inside the characters homes and not the actors homes was beautiful. The establishing shots of LA made it even more relevant, and made you think of those in prisons, or the homeless, and the helplessness you can feel trying to keep them safe. The ending with what I assume was the cast and crew was a nice touch as well as the dedication to Frontline workers. For this moment in history, and the speed and quality for which they got it done, I say bravo. Job well done. Especially for a show that is currently on the bubble, and this unfortunately could be its final episode. Hopefully there will be a season 2.

I found that episode so well done and really enjoyable.

However, my missus couldn't follow it and found it distracting and annoying.

If I wanted to watch reality TV...
brendan-244-1520575 May 2020
...I'd watch reality TV. This is made up reality TV.

Seriously, we've all been living this for weeks now. One upside to all the lockdown/isolation is that I can at least binge watch telly. I want to watch drama, in HD. I want to be entertained. I don't want to watch a bunch of low-res, Web Based Meetings. I get to do that all day for work...

Brilliant!

Bravo to All Rise cast and writers for pulling this off. This the first show I see that depicts our current crisis and develops brilliant solution to our current judicial dilemma.

I is also a wonderful surprise to see the Supreme Court taking a similar initiative conducting hearings by phone, broadcasted online, Amazing!

Amazing
paul-997985 May 2020
As UK viewers this drama is escapism for us. Another world and a make believe world. This episode brought us into that world. Our only contact with family and friends is via video chat apps. That's how it was in this episode for the characters. Absolutely loved it.

Episode Dancing at Los Angeles
lmcbrien31456 May 2020
A brilliantly edited episode that perfectly describes how we're currently living in "lockdown" due to the coronavirus, COVID-19. I commented early on that this show was my new favorite, and this is one reason why!

Format Drove Me Away
jupton-962445 May 2020
It was impossible to get beyond the 8 minute mark. I can't watch drama unfold in a Hollywood Squares fashion. This format would definitely work in a Rowan & Martin's Laugh-In reboot. It's sure to delight some, but for me it's all about the production. Scripted reality shows have a much happier home outside of mine.

Well done episode.
Oralellis9 May 2020
Love this show even more... wasn't sure what to expect when it was announced but I must say this was hands down well done, anyone who says otherwise are just miserable people. I really liked how accurate it was in showing LA during this time, I also liked how positive, funny and uplifting it was, and for a first season of a show these actors chemistry was so good off set. How do you not enjoy this miserable people?

Warning: Spoilers
All Rise gave us its best episode to close out the season, and one under extraordinary circumstances.

The first in-season show to do a full quarantine episode, possibly, and they gave the blueprint for how to do it well here.
