I was worried that this was not gonna be as good as Streets of Rage 2 or 1. I was big fan of those games and seeing this one gave me high expectations. Luckily for me it freaking delivered! The graphics are beautiful, detailed, and interesting. The music is amazing and heck I my say this soundtrack is better than SoR 2. The gameplay is addictive and satisfying as hell with characters being balanced and fun to play. There is also a combo system and rank point system making you want replay it. The are plenty of modes, extras you can check out for more content. My only complaints are some of the enemies are really annoying with some having counterattacks and projectiles. I wish you can play as the new Shiva and new Max, but other than that the game was a surprise for me and Streets of Rage are my favorite beat em up ever.

Streets of rage one of greatest, if not the greatest, beat'em up game. After 26 years from the release of Streets Of Rage 3, Dotemu along side Guard Crush And LizardCube, Released The One And Only Streets Of Rage 4,which i believe it deserves to be the game of the year. I know that this doesn't make any sense, i mean yes there are some awesome games, for example Final Fantasy VII Remake, but so far i haven't seen any game that has levels, characters, and backgrounds design better than sor4. In addition, the gameplay is fantastic, solid combos and great special move. Furthermore, the character rooster is awesome, and I really loved the idea of unlocking other characters from older sor games, as well as changing the music to the retro mode,which brings some nostalgic feelings. However, the only problem i had with this game is that the story mode is short, 2 hours of gameplay is not enough, and there is a stage that can be completed within 5 minutes or less (I'm talking about the sky train stage). Other than that the game is fantastic, and if they release a dlc that has more stages or maybe more characters, then the game will be "PERFECT".
