Sit down summer child, because does George R.R. Martin ever have a story to tell. No, The Winds of Winter is not done yet. Nor will it be done this year. However, taking to his blog to confirm his good spirits and health, Martin revealed that the coronavirus pandemic has forced him to spend long hours trapped in a literal cabin writing about the lands of Westeros Essos. At long last, winter might finally be coming on the page.
“I have to confess after half a year of pandemic, quarantine, and social distancing, I am showing signs of cabin fever… half of which is quite literal in my case,” Martin wrote on his, as charmingly as ever, antiquated blog. “Yes, I am in an actual cabin in the mountains. No, I have no fever. Yay! For the present at least, I am healthy… for an out-of-shape guy of 71, at least…...

After Aashayein, which disappeared rather quickly, Nagesh Kukunoor is back with his latest offering Mod, starring Ayesha Takia (Wanted and Dor) and VJ turned actor Ranvijay Singh.
The music of Mod has been composed by Tapas Relia (Hanuman) while Mir Ali Husain has penned the lyrics. It features the vocal talents of Shreya Ghosal (Bahara – I Hate Luv Storys), Shankar Mahadevan (Desi Girls – Dostana), Vijay Prakash (Fikrana – Blue) and Shivam Pathak (Indian Idol 5).
Mod turns to audiences 14 October 2011.
The album commences begins with Tu Hi Tu, a romantic duet between Shreya and Shivam Pathak. It is a melodious, evenly paced contemporary number sung to perfection by young Shivam, whose vocals are a nice blend between Javed Ali and Mohit Chauhan. He sings with Shreya who is many years his senior but he shows no signs of this. Shreya has previously excelled in numbers such as these and Tu Hi Tu is no exception.

Ayesha Takia was said to have taken a break from movies after her marriage to restaurateur Farhan Azmi, but the actress is now set to return to Bollywood with Nagesh Kukunoor’s next film Mod.
Mod is based on the Taiwanese film Keeping Watch and sees Ayesha Takia paired opposite Rannvijay Singh. Mod is director Nagesh Kukunoor’s first love story after films such as Aashayein, 8×10 Tasveer and Bombay to Bangkok.
Nagesh Kukunoor told the media why he decided to make a love story, “I never wanted to do love stories as I always believed there was nothing really new to say, considering we see so many love stories being made every year. But when I saw a Taiwanese film Keeping Watch at Afff, where I was a member of the jury, I was amazed. I wanted to take the same premise and set it in India. So I went ahead and bought the rights.

It is true. Relationships will always prevail over anything in life; even in Bollywood. And this is the exact reason why Nagesh Kukunoor decided to recast his upcoming untitled film, with rakhi sister Ayesha Takia. Initially it was Shilpa Shetty who was chosen to play the lead female role. In fact she was so psyched about her role that she even decided to produce the film. However, as producer and actress were discussing the film, they realized they had a difference of "creative" ideas and thus now, will not be making the film with one another.
According to sources, Shilpa wanted a more prominent actor to work opposite her in the film while Nagesh was keen on signing an actor who was new or lesser known. In addition, the fact that Shilpa kept calling herself the solo producer of the film was upsetting the director since they both had decided to co-produce the film.

This is a film about coping with dying. But that’s not what makes it such a special experience. It’s the writer-director’s profound understanding of human nature that furnishes the simple story with a lucidity and coherence even when the protagonist’s mind is so numbed by physical pain he can barely think straight.

How would you describe your film ‘Aashaayein’?
‘Aashayein’ is a sensitive story of hope, wishes and triumph of human spirit. ‘Aashayein’ encourages people to live their dreams and fulfill all their wishes. August 11, 2010: While John Abraham doesn’t plead with his ladylove to end his life like Hrithik Roshan does in Guzaarish, there are enough outward resemblances between Guzaarish and John’s much-delayed Aashayein to make John press the panic button and ensure that his film about living life to the brim in the face of death, gets to the theatres before the other prestigious film.
And the desperation to get eyeballs for Aashayein shows. One music track with an accompanying music video featuring Pritam Chakraborty is irrelevantly being used to promote the long-delayed Nagesh Kukunoor.
