This story. written by Shannon Fife, has a very involved plot, in which a dissipated father loses track of his girl baby, after his wife's death, and adopts a son. In later years the girl appears, having been raised by a foster mother. There are numerous love affairs, all skillfully handled, but requiring close attention on the part of the observer to avoid confusion of mind. The scenes at the banquet in the last reel are the best, and contain good suspense. None of the characters are very sympathetic. The photography is good. - The Moving Picture World, May 2, 1914
