Maybe this one wasn't the funniest, but it revealed the best and worst about Michael. He eventually learned how controlling Jan is, which made him appreciate Holly. It was a sweet moment at the end. The hug was his apology. The nice thing about Michael is that he recognizes when he's very rude and tries to make up for it. He kissed Oscar with tongue and tried to jump off the roof. It's hard to dislike him even when he acts like a jerk.

Jim and Pam

Warning: Spoilers
The more I know about these two the more I believe they're the best couple of anything I've ever watched. They're just perfect! They had that kind of relationship that is so realistic but also so hard to find! The harmony between them, the way they get eachothers melts my heart. I couldn't help tearing at the end of the episode where they ended up leaving messages but it seemed like they were really talking, proving that distances are hard and ugly, but you can work it out if you want to.

Another episode greatly improved by Superfans edition

Warning: Spoilers
I initially gave this episode a 7 because it was just ok. However after rewatching the super fan version, like others episodes, I feel it improved the quality a good bit. The deleted scenes involving Meredith's boozing and Jan breast feeding had me rolling. Also additional scenes involving Dwight with the stroller were awesome as that was initially the best part of the original cut. Like other extended episodes as well, more dramatic scenes being viewed adds to the depth and emotion of the episode. We get to see more of Michael struggle with the fact that Astrid isn't his baby. The additional scenes help strengthen the overall narrative of the episode and it feels more "complete". While this episode isn't one of the funniest in the series it still has great character plot development.

If you haven't watched the super fans version of this series do yourself a favor and watch the show back again this way, because there are a lot of "meh" episodes that I find to be quite better. I could never go back to the original 22 minute cuts.

This episode is amazing. Why? Thats because it was a filler into the reality of the show. Jan's sense of tyranny, Michael's quite negligible character development, specs into reality, Jim and Pam's drifting relationship while long distance, Holly and Michael's healthy relationship, etc. Its great. I really like this episode.

Baby Shower (#5.3)
ComedyFan20109 January 2019
Warning: Spoilers
The office throws a baby shower for Jan.

It is not as outrageous hilarious as most episodes but still very good. The situation is pretty ridiculous since Michael isn't even the father and Jan doesn't invite him to baby's birth. Dwight is the best here checking out the stroller and also training Michael on giving birth.

It was very stange and awkward episode but sadly in a bad way. I didn't like it at all. The whole idea and how it was told was just a bad decision. Just an episode to fill air time.

Jan's Baby

Warning: Spoilers
Michael asked for a baby shower for Jan and the women are setting it up. He got custom-made M&M's. No live storks though. Jan comes in with her baby and Michael is shocked. Jan said she got into labour. They have the shower anyways but since the baby is here it ruins all their games. They got her a stroller as a present but she already has one that is way better. Hers cost 1500 dollars. Dwight takes her stroller to test run it.

Baby shower is given to a 7month pregnant woman. Idiots.

After the birth, it's just a congratulations kinda party. Baby shower is not when a baby is born. Dumb. Also in general, this is a very depressing show and I can understand why US americans love it. Horrible characters. The only moments I looked forward were Jim's pranks on Dwight.
