The Plot and Guest Star Make It Memorable
kgraovac15 November 2023
RUFF - The Radical Ultra Feminist Front is staying at the hotel and their outspoken leader lectures the girls on feminism; Dot dates a guy Amy went out with.

The plot here is something that would have fit right in during the ABC era and Barbara Casson's staunch portrayal as the ultra-feminist champion of women's rights is almost TOO good for the show's lightweight tone in this later era. At least she receives Special Guest Star billing. BTW, her character would have had a field day with Cassie!

The B-story is lame and repetitive because Amy and Dot had argued over a man at the end of Season 4.

This would have been a great episode without the B-story, but it's still a stand-out because of Casson's performance and the way the script has Sonny receive some comeuppance via one of the RUFF members.
