All that glitters . . .
cricket3030 July 2018
Warning: Spoilers
. . . is not cold, GIDDY GOLD teaches impressionable young viewers. If you lick that shiny metallic pole in the winter you may be in for a spot welding job (at least North of the Mason Blitzen Line), but tongue that same staff come August and you're liable to get heat blisters. GIDDY GOLD reveals that "Olive Oyl" sports a Heart of Pyrite, and "Popeye" would be foolish to pay her even a penny for her thoughts. Ms. Oyl is portrayed as such a lame brain that she'd clearly vote for a serially-divorced court-documented spouse rapist who brags on TV about foisting off a "Dr. Larry" upon every ferapistmale in sight over The Virgin Mary IF the former waved a pot of Leprechaun Loot under her nose. It's not hard to see why there's a move underfoot to repeal the19th Amendment to the U.S. Constitution, just as the 18th Amendment was cancelled out by the 21st. IF a prohibited beer can be rehabilitated, GIDDY GOLD's logic suggests, then surely a franchised air-headed chick can be disenfranchised for the Good of the Nation.

Tinsel Town always teaches viewers that . . .

. . . Wealth Corrupts, and Absolute Wealth Corrupts Absolutely. From old E. Scrooge to J. Paul Getty, misers are asking for loads and loads of misery. Whether it's CITIZEN KANE or THE SOCIAL NETWORK, rich moguls are hovering on the brink of a fatal fall. They usually expire in deserted castles, as heedless henchmen pitch their prized possessions into the burn pit. Those who trumpet their wealth from the highest towers are here today, but forgotten tomorrow, according to Hollywood. No matter how many Gatsby's are floating in that Long Island swimming pool, they always seem to be dredged out completely perforated. GIDDY GOLD pictures Olive Oil stone cold stiff in the face of too much treasure.
