Great series but the commentary I thought was slow, no passion, was being read with no feeling, I like the actor but maybe should stick to acting. The commentary put me off watching the series

I am sure that the video on this program is quite nice to watch, but it only took about five minutes of the narrators voice to tell me that I could not bear watching this series. The narration is loud, strident and aggravating to listen to. This narrator needs to take heed of how people like David Attenborough do their job.

I only watched the 'desert' episode of this series. There is some amazing camera work, but virtually everything you see is then attacked and devoured by something else, right down to the gorgeous budgerigars and their eggs nesting in a tree hollow. Sure, that's life, but nature is not all death all the time! Watching this left me utterly depressed.
