- There are some mild indications throughout the series that a female character is attractive and many boys gossiping about her looks in different dresses, etc.
- A male character slips his hand into the side of a female character's bathing suit. This is done with innocent intent, as he's trying trying to return a padded piece of material she had placed into her bathing suit to increase the size of her breasts. The girl is clearly embarrassed by this, and remembers this instance very briefly in a flashback scene.
- Lots of fanservice throughout in this show, from deep cleavage to beach scenes.
- A female character is intrigued by the breasts of her friends mom. She pokes at one of the mother's breasts with a chopstick, and a sound effect is heard. The friend of the character gets flustered, shouting "stop sexually harassing my mother!"
- A girl drags a girl under the swimming pool and takes of her swim suit bra when she comes back up the top of her boobs are shown but it is meant for laughs.
- There is one scene, where one of the side characters is dreaming about girls wearing inappropriate Christmas outfits, the boys are naked but the groin is mostly shown. Then, the female character is naked but it only shows most of her back and clothes cover her parts. These characters in the dream are all classmates. Then the dream ends.
- A guy walks in after a shower and is completely naked, but is holding a towel over his crotch so you can't see anything too bad. A girl is amazed by this and pulls out her camera to take pictures, but the guy accidentally loses grip on his towel and drops it. You don't see anything after he drops his towel but the girl exclaims "I just saw something black and bushy."
- A guy grabs the main character's butt. It's not too sexual and is played for a comedic effect, but the main character is embarrassed by this. Might make younger viewers uncomfortable.
- A female character is at one point dress in very revealing clothes while on stage at her school. She is a minor.
Violence & Gore

- Regularly demonstrates gendered physical violence played as slapstick, or in a few cases directed violence to get someone to do a thing. All of the male victims are brushed off as "he's fine" or portrayed in a way where they believe they deserved to be the victim of that genders physical assaults.
- The main female protagonist, Taiga Aisaka punches the main male protagonist, Ryuuji Takasu in the face after first meeting him due to being in a bad mood and hearing him say her nickname that she hates.
- Taiga and the student council president known as Sumire get into a fight in class. At the beginning of the fight, both girls use weapons, Taiga uses a wooden Japanese sword called a bokken and Sumire uses another type of sword. However, neither girl uses the swords to harm each other due to Sumire knocking Taiga's bokken out of her hands which causes Taiga to retaliate by punching her face, causing Sumire to drop her sword. As in most fights, the girls are trying to and even manage to physically harm each other, such as kicking and punching. Despite all this, the fight is very short and is stopped. At the end, both Taiga and Sumire have minor injuries, such as some bruising and a nosebleed. Taiga is suspended for two weeks as punishment because of the fight.
- Taiga occasionally hits Ryuuji and such, but this is not serious, and is used as slapstick comedy.

- In the dubbed version, "Jesus" is used several times.
- Semi-frequent swearing. "Bitch" is said a few times. "God" used as an expletive throughout the series.
Alcohol, Drugs & Smoking

- Ryuuji Takasu's mother works at a hostess bar named Bishamontengoku. Other than that, alcohol, smoking, and the use of drugs is nonexistent.
Frightening & Intense Scenes

- The last episode is hard to watch younger kids might find it depressing at first as people run away and in a scene class mates trap a girl and make her confess about her secrets and feelings. a of crying happens in that scene as well as screaming

Sex & Nudity
- Two girls are having a swimming competition both are in swimming suits.
- One episode revolves around a female character feeling insecure about her breast size.
- In one episode Taiga and Ryuuji sleep in the same room and they comment on it. Later in the night Taiga puts a sheet over her head and they pretend they're getting married. They kiss, over and over until the scene is over. It's not too sexual, and mostly cute, but it is notable.
Violence & Gore
- Taiga drops something down a snowy mountain and goes to get it, but trips on the ice and falls down a small part of the mountain. She's lost for a couple of hours and eventually Ryuuji goes out into the dark to look for her. She's found unconscious and bleeding. There's not a lot of blood, but it is notable, and Taiga is fine.
