This film starts with a "Not rated" warning. They need not have bothered. Unless the American rating system is so strict that Disney films would struggle to pass the board in a rated version !!!! If this was to play the UK, this would be 15 rated tops. Gore is minimum and there is nothing else that I believe would warrant this being "not rated".
"What's it about?" I hear you cry. Two brothers go to a house at the request of a billionaire to settle $50,000 gambling debt. They need to unleash the shadow people by performing a Satanic ritual. It is not long before the Shadow People are on the loose. They are soon joined by four "teens" all must fight for survival.
Not a total stinker, some of the effects of the shadow people were nice and whenever they were on screen there was an air of menace. However they could have done with more screen time. Acting was OK, and there is a bit of gore. There is endless talking and it seems to take an age to get anywhere.
An OK effort on a very low budget
