"Anyone would think you're stalking me"

Warning: Spoilers
Well, it's nice that Home and Away manages to wrap up some story lines quickly, as we presumably see the end of Ruby's crush here. There's some nice characterisation at work here:Jai refuses to believe Annie, Annie tries to get things straight before making it official. The only really odd note is that after deciding to talk to her the previous day Annie is suddenly passing notes to Ruby in class.Miles' handling of the situation is admirable and it seems his friendship with Ruby is strong enough to survive.

Melody's storyline continues to drag on and you're left with the niggling feeling that while this was an interesting way to reintroduce her it has, in practice, left her cut off from the rest of the cast without any real interaction. As is becoming common practice, the storyline is also abandoned for several episodes at a time. It's a disappointment that her first scene with Annie since her return is her being marched past her down a corridor.(And that Ruby seems to have displaced her as Annie's new best friend.)It's nice to see Geoff and Nicole together again and hopefully they'll make the friends thing work.

Aden...Oh dear.He shifts from smug superiority to moment of insight to jilted boyfriend.Todd Lasance plays all of them well but there seems little connection between the three and, although he admits Larry doesn't deserve to die, there's still little in the way of genuine remorse for his many crimes. At least Belle's managed to move past him although you suspect that even now the temptation to reunite them will ultimately prove too strong.
