Way better than ep. 1
This episode was much better at handling the conflict between Atwater and the other cops than the first one. It didn't feel as overwhelming and, to be honest, forced. I also really enjoyed the scene at the ending!

However, the crime storyline on this episode had the same problem of being kinda boring at parts (not as much as the other episode's one, but at the end I kinda forgot what was happening). It felt like wasted potential considering the set-up is actually kinda interesting. It was missing that 'something' that keeps you hooked up to the story and waiting to find out what happens next.

Social conscience!

The second episode is confirming my optimism for this show. As it progresses I hope they will keep that line. Tv shows are obliged to be escapists. Even TV is a form of art and art that doesn't tackle the problems of the world is vulgar esthetism.

Exist for a reason

The 'blue code/blue wall' exists for a reason. If you don't like it, just leave!

So now we will get the BLM Intelligence unit or what?

I like that it is displayed that there is a conflict in Atwater and others but this is really not going in the right direction. Can' be the case that Atwater is winning this battle and kind of destroying the blue code. Why should we continue to watch this series. We watched it to the Voight way

Bad acting, overly politicized content that has no realism

Bad acting, overly politicized content that has no realism.

Season 7 was getting bad, but Season 8 forces viewers to drink the Woke-a-Cola.

Atwater is one of the weakest cop characters in all of American policing dramas.
