The swimming of characters with reals dolphins, usually in the 1964 original series, is almost exclusive of this episode in the 1995 remake. And the pilot contains a lot of scenes with dolphins later utilizes again on various episodes. Mike is a very rebellious boy, but he isn't a bad boy. He free the female dolphin for a rebellion against his mother, but he also thinks who the animal hates living there. Looking for the escaped dolphin, Mike himself get in trouble and he was rescued by Keith, Maya and a dolphin who he calls Flipper.
