Best episode of season 3 so far
frangibbens18 October 2021
Anti vaxxers getting offended by this episode is hilarious. The best episode of the season so far but nothing lives up to the first season thus far. Love's chaotic ways are driving me a bit mad and I'm not sure how much more of her I can take.

Heads and stomachs!
cjonesas30 December 2021
Another unfocused episode with mostly unrealistic situations. Used to be Joe centric, now it's a family mishmash with the crazy lady's "outbursts" and the redeemed "nice" husband cleaning up the mess.

Writers, churn our stomachs once again! What's going on in your heads?!

Pretty decent episode.

Just reviewing here to balance out the poor triggered folks who are trying to review bomb it.

The quality is moving a little downhill, but these aren't 1/10 episodes. The fragile anti-vax folk are really struggling with this concept.

Hoping Love doesn't just keep on piling up bodies though, since it's starting to get a little over the top. Hopefully the remainder of the season will take a bit more of a break from that.

Warning: Spoilers
Interesting episode, a normal fan of the show would say things were easy for our lovely couple( joe&love ) but it was the exact opposite, you just need to focus to see it.

Warning: Spoilers
Gil is taken to the cage and he wakes up in it. The Goldbergs look for dirt on him. Joe scoffs amusingly hearing that the worst secret Gil has is he slept with another woman, a claim he knew was false. Love finds out that Gil's son was in college after sexual assault. Gil's wife covered it up with money. Gil then suicides. The Goldbergs use this to place the blame on him. Love goes to the search in a cute brown knapsack and winter jacket. She hides the axe in the woods. Theo is handsome and so cute.

Predictability getting more predictable
tessakatwijk-1950725 October 2021
Warning: Spoilers
Is You a masterpiece? Not by far, but intriguing yes. It had these fun twists that made the show stand out in the first place. The "twists" are getting more and more predictable now. The suicide warning up front just completely took away any element of surprise. Maybe I've seen too many shows and films to be surprised anymore, but it's too bad that the plot is revealed within the first the few frames. Connecting the dots was all too easy. I'll leave the (anti)vaxx storyline out of it, it shouldn't matter to the plot in my opinion. In a few months we probably won't be as sensitive to this topic anymore. The quality is steadily declining which seems to be curse for many Netflix produced shows.

TL;DR plot twists are no longer twists and the storyline is being influenced by current controversies.

2 things to the writers
feleciaeby12 February 2022
1. Have Love take about 40% off there. She can't keep bodies piling up at this pace. It's already becoming fairly hard to believe.

2. Please find a way to frame Sherri for some of this. I can't stand her. I don't think she should be killed, but if you're not going to make her suffer, I'd settle for her being murdered.

Show is turning to trash
anhasil18 October 2021
This show used to be about Joe and his obsessive behavior. Now it is roping in anti-vax slander and focusing on Love's out of control anger issues. For me the show is moving away from what made me so intrigued by it in the first place.

#Quicksand in this surburbia hell

Warning: Spoilers
This is the worst. I don't know how much more of Love's insanely petty anger. Let's just murder anyone that looks at us wrong. If this is going to be the premise for the show moving on, I might just have to skip. Sherry is the quintessential influencer but is made so over the top unnecessarily. The show trying to be "topical" with anti-vaccine and college entry bribery is a bit much to take when it's thrown in your face in just two short episodes. I enjoyed the first two episodes, as they seemed to stick to the voice of the first season, but now we're straight jumping the shark.

Show is going down the tubes!
roadbike196818 December 2021
The Director is starting to take jabs at Anti-Vax people and making a political statements. Also nice disclaimer about "Suicide" nevermind the ruthless killings throughout the entire show. Hollywood is really starting to suck.

Warning: Spoilers
As soon as we see that the guy's not dead, it's predictable they'd merge the two problems and of course it would all work out. Then onto the next thing...

What if you went through a murder?
nikkitrimbach24 October 2021
Warning: Spoilers
Thank you so much for warning us about suicide. I can't help but notice that there isn't a warning for all the murders. That's unfair to the people who have gone through that.

And also thanks for showing us that, no matter what, even if you're a white rich serial killer, the vaccine shall rule all!
